"Chuck' always was one for disappearing on a whim. Probably gone fishing.

A great bloke. Good luck in the Emirates.
-
If foaled in NZ it would not appear in the ASB unless it eventually went to stud in Australia.
-
We had a mare with a club foot. She only had two foals but no problems with either of them.
-
Would be interesting to take the question back 10, 20 and 30 years to see how long names stay at the top.
-
Do you have any information about locations in Western Australia?
-
. I stand corrected but I believe Paula Wagg and Irene (Jackie) Pateman were the first female licensed jockeys. My understanding was that Marilyn Fagan was licensed at the same time as Paula & Irene.
-
I would say that Linda Jones was the first to ride in WA but that Marilyn Fagan, Paula Wagg & Irene Pateman were the first to be licensed to ride against the blokes.

I made some personal enquiries with his trainers overseas and the concensus was that his temperament was suspect. The guy in the US was of the opinion that as a gelding he would have made a reasonable racehorse. Unfortunately the arabs were not prep…

I mean't "threw a champion" that being Placid Ark. So I can't spell!! lol

Arkenstone through a champion too...... and not much else but how many people jumped on the Placid Ark bandwagon??
-
Is this the one with a chapter called "Rape" and the first story in said chapter detailing the Ascot Pack Rape???

"he needs support...we were all young once...better decision making comes with age or with knowledge.". Sorry, It's not the first time he's been caught! IMHO, the guy is a total idiot.

When will these guys learn!
-
Definitely not pretty but very true. Owners need to be made to take responsibility for these horses. The number of TB's that our local horse rescue service, www.schrar.org , take on is disgraceful and they are coming from some of the best stables an…

Good to know that Tall Poppy Syndrome is alive & well in Perth!!! From today's headlines Australian racing has got bigger problems than a few jockeys having a bet. Shit they've done it for decades anyway.
-
The trouble with online betting is you can't actually pin it down to a person. Lets just assume that Jockey A is married & has only one computer in his house which is used by him, his wife and his 17 year old offspring. There is no concievable w…

If I put my mare Honour Kate to Dick Turpin, do you think I could race the horse as Honour Dick?? How about "Honour Among Thieves"
-
You might want to be careful with that mare. The family has a history of producing bleeders. Make sure you are not crossing to other lines with similar issues.

13% of the horses on that first list were bred by the one Breeder. The great Frederico Tesio\ Nearco Ribot Braque and of the three two became world class sires who still influence TB breeding today.

People have short memories. Anyone remember SeeSaw dropping dead in front of the grandstand at Ascot. If my memory serves me correctly Kailis had paid for the horse that morning.

Such a shame that Sam had to purchase what should have been his birthright.
