  • I hope you mean reverted back to a proper 3200 metre cup! Its just another 2400 race now, nothing special about it (or the fields it attracts). IMO Black Tom was the last Perth Cup winner.

  • Not new! In the UK the Injured Jockey's Fund has been running for years. They now have care homes in Lambourn & Teneriffe and support dozens of injured and infirm jockeys. We are so behind the times! www.ijf.org.uk
