Ok my mistake I didnt see the Detonator Stakes win. Still his form is very average for a Railway. Lords Ransom, do they think the horse can win first up? Why would you bother?

I can't see any horses beating Dark Target in this, he finished within a length of Hay List, first up! He can lead and still pull of fast sectionals! Phenomenos will be needing to win to qualify for the Railway, although a big ask

Was simply beaten by 2 faster horses. Black Print even though was not going to beat the placegetters will make a nice horse next prep.

It has nothing to do with the age of the horses in this race, it is the fact that the trainers and owners are pushing their 3yo fillies that obviously arent ready.

Looking at the history of this race, the field dropped off since year 2000. None of the winners since have done anything, Honor Lap went on to win the Derby but that was it. Superior Star, can hardly remember this horse? Royal Drive, Westerly Breeze…

running a solid 1800m is alot different to running a solid 2400m! Time will tell with all these horses as the distance increases, but Lou must be getting exciting with his horse, few more strides and would have got up. Liked the run of Dominico too.

This is actually a very open field. Brava Fortune could win races in Melbourne, so Im sure she will run a big race even with the week back up.

Tivers he was closing fast on the other horses hence why he ran 3rd but 2 n half L in front were Takeover and Apache. Anyway why is Marasco being mentioned, he is not even in this race! Possibly Tarzi to run second. Not sure how Scenic Shot will go…

No I still got the point. My point was even though the race is 1400m, Marasco is not in the same class. His only claim to fame was a gr2 victory in Melbourne beating Apache Cat which was over 1600m ! I do think though Fred should have missed the Ki…
