And really there isnt a lot of pace in the race overall so we BET UP ,up the lot Snugg Buggles into the Target then all up Tudor Lad Sunday in the Cup in the Avon Valley
Prior to last prep second up could have been a concern, he blew a similar field apart last year second up though
Wasnt that the race he fell in against Henry The Pharoah and Never The Twain - you sure they are Group 3 WFA performers ???
think DT is referring to POW last year which was second up after a 'let up', but yes the race u referring 2 della was officially 2nd up and he did just fall in that day.
about 4/5 genuine chances, so not gunna take the shorts about DT especially with his over-racing behaviour which can often get himself beat. In saying that, backmarkers will need to be running super sections for last 600m to catch him, but IP & SO for me at the better each way odds.
I can't see any horses beating Dark Target in this, he finished within a length of Hay List, first up! He can lead and still pull of fast sectionals! Phenomenos will be needing to win to qualify for the Railway, although a big ask
The Shane Edwards prepapred Phenomenons has been withdrawn from this Saturday's $125,000 Group Three Prince Of Wales Stakes (1200m).
Phenomenons was found to be sore in one hoof, with Edwards suspected he stepped on a loose shoe during track work on Tuesday.
"We think it happened on Tuesday, he seemed fine after his work, but the following day we found a few small puncture holes in his hoof. He has had x-rays and fingers crossed we will have him back on track shortly." A disappointed Shane Edwards said to Perth Racing.
The classy son of Giant's Causeway was on track for a shot at the Group One Railway Stakes and Edwards is still confident he will have him there.
"We originally planned to start him first up in the Lee Steere Stakes over 1400m, but he was going so well I thought we'd start him on Saturday." Edwards added.

This isn't that whole Liquidation/Phenomenons bunfight again is it . . .
Now if you said the Perth Cup over the 2400M trip I would think he has a better chance this year, and again next year.
