Smart Twister 1st up over 1800m :?: very weak race if you take him out. May just end up being an amazing training feat. Prefer the breed as sprinters, but this one likes a bit ground, maybe on a long range Perth Cup mission, still prefer 1200-1400 myself, but im with him all the same

i wonder if the trainers got this one set for the Oz Cup or probably getting it ready for the Arc at Longchamp as he doesnt mind keeping the bar high look at Ringmeister he is a dead set ripper and will probably be in pussy files before to long wont be at Flemington thats for sure

Don't forget the other 20 metres (1820). Could that last 20 metres be the test? :)
  • at least Lindsay can set them for races

I like how Edwards has been training winners for over a month since he was first asked to attend a hearing and continue's to get media coverage with runners like Guest Wing, Mister Moneypenny and Phenomenons when he has a 1 year ban hanging over his head.

how does he have a horse running at 11.45am in Caulfield yet attend an appeal hearing in WA on the same day??

The same way other trainers have runners in different states. They don't have to be at the course.

I do think he is taking the mickey though.

wasnt referring to being on-course (not that stupid)

what happens if they dismiss the appeal at 11.43am - does the horse get scratched??
  • near on full fields for the quaddie legs and some pretty average horses in them should make for a decent quaddie worth getting, can see it paying well tmrw.. :D

Hitman and I aren't that stupid either. Where was the reference here to the result of the appeal? Your statement questions Edwards attendance not the result of the appeal and what may happen after the adjudication.

To ensure the horse starts Edwards is either very confident he will get off with a fine or convinced the appeal can stretch past start time.
  • inferred comment takes a certain level of intelligence - sorry I wasted your time

PS - there was something written above that quote too

    Fair enough Hash.

I think you'll find names have already been suggested for these jocks. Good luck to them both and hope they can land an early city winner.

    SWIFT PREDATOR looks a moral
  • I see STEAM ON is back

Maybe wont get a start tomorrow but with Kingy overseas it probably wont get slaughtered like last prep

SENTIMENTAL STAR will turn the tables on PRINCE TO KING

IN EDEN'S HONOUR - massive effort on debut, is 1000m too short??

SWIFT PREDATOR - a moral??? must make ROUGE DIOR a bigger moral?

Flying Metal in the first looks the goods. Under 1 min 1000m trials two out of three attempts. Fit and ready.
