  • JEREMY EASTHOPE just said IN EDEN'S HONOUR will be ridden more on the pace today

hopefully stewards are notified so punters can be told as its against the pattern of its first 2 starts

    Della IN EDEN"S HONOUR

I would not say that it is her normal racing pattern, but just the way she had to be ridden in the first 2 starts.

Got checked badly out of the gates twice in her first start, as well as drawing the river and again drew wide for her second start raced wide and drifted back to gain cover ( see stewards report )

Oratorio's normall run on or just of the spped, so think that would be the norm for her.
  • I didnt say it wasnt her normal pattern

but it is against the pattern of the last 2 starts - which is all that matters according to Australian Rules of Racing

Well we will know either way by 12.00pm
  • AR.135A. When by or on behalf of a trainer, any instruction is given to, or arrangement made
with the rider of a horse engaged in a race that the horse be ridden in the race in a manner
different from the manner in which the horse was ridden at its most recent start or starts, it shall
be the responsibility of the trainer or his duly authorised agent to notify the Stewards of any
such instruction or arrangement as early as practicable but not later than when the order to
mount is given by the Stewards prior to the race. Upon receipt of that notification the Stewards
may make any public release in respect thereof as they deem to be appropriate.

So playing devils advocate, Trainer tells stewards they may try and sit closer to the speed, and then she shows no early pace so rider settles her at the rear of the field?

Punetrs are then given the bum steer?

yep - happens all the time over east

its better to make a disclosure tho
  • it showed absolutely no pace whatsoever last prep, I'd be very surprised if it does not settle in a rearward position. It can get home at 100mph though

Thats what I seem to remember, couldn't go a yard early.

If it's an absurd price I could entertain laying it

Go Jorg is a best bet but is one of 5 hopes in his Quaddie leg, whereas Ginsberg is another best bet and is only one of 2 hopes in his Quaddie.... go figure!

Happy to be proven wrong, but time and time again when strong finishers from back in the field get ridden close to the pace, they don't have the same ping and struggle.

Would need to be $4 - $5 for it to be a betting proposition for me, would be happy to be laying it at the shorts, remember it is only a 2 year old............ reminds me must get a Betfair Account.

Like 2 Darwin horses today, Cullens Shadow and Thumb Prints.

easy, he's labelled it as his best bet yet added 4 others for insurance purpose on the quaddie ensuring he jags it, is common sense to add a couple in the same leg even if something does standout for you

what i'd be doing is taking another ticket with go jorg one out
hows that for a staking plan BC, pretty clever huh! but try keep that one to yourself :P

    nah...taking the 1%

gonna have to narrow somewhere
  • Wes Cameron always takes atleast 2 runners per leg

even heard him do that when he rated one of the horses at $1.10

I think its wise to do that now with the flexi option - just incase

I gather that Noske and Harvey are not riding today. There have been no rider changes advised yet on the NSW TAB website. Does anyone have any information?
