How are the 2 jockeys outside of Maca saying they "looked ok".

Thanks Vorg. Win would have been nice but I'm not greedy. Hope others had a collect on it. Still celebrating with the Tri and nice place div.

My only other interest was Avonmore in the previous... luvvly jubbly!!!!

was only lame after the race
  • some decent bets pulled off yesterday

    Smart Twister $10 into $6

Jay Jay Makster $12 into $4.20

Also know the last winner was crunched because I got $7 on Betfair and saw it started a lot shorter but had left the course

wonder if any bookies want to admit to taking a pounding?

it was a bloodbath! Avonmore Terrace was $5.50 into $4 aswell and they didnt miss Amberjob or Ultimate Fighter.
  • so the shortest priced winner of the day - which was the 1st winner was probably the best result?

To those that bet in the run did Smart Twister drift when Macca said as they rounded the home turn that it was battling.
  • in the run betting is too hard to monitor slip, with slow net connections, delays etc and you not being able to secure odds unless they're matched with a second of you putting them up (or getting another bet pushing u back in the line)... its way too hard to determine

Cheers for the explanation Hash as I have never attempted it.

Don't know if it is as hard as hash makes out slip.

But concede only really feasible if you want to back one maybe two runners, any more it's too difficult too take it all in (where they are in running as oppossed to where you had them, their price relative to rated price etc etc). I can only think of once when I've backed something mid race I had no intention of backing prior to the race.

However, it's dead easy in Perth staying races when they go 15 sec to the furlong, all the time in the world to assess/place.
