Phenomenons by half a solar system

Well judging by our poll Flying Falcon has a massive chance.

although impressive at it's last start, you have to question the late night flight / Redford formline, run in a very slow time.
Phenomenons was enormous against the older horses two weeks back.

Not a mention of Almohad, a horse on the improve

nearly 1.38 FF clocked..was entitled to run home in 34.7 wasnt he?

    like benny's comment,half a solar system

Might win tommorrow ut I think the opposition will be winning thereafter

Will not argue that point The Diva, great effort, i am just a take on punter of sorts. I refuse to get caught up in hype, of any horse, unless i get a fuzzy feeling personally. Phenomenons is the horse to beat, i for one, will not be shelling out big bucks on this race.

i think amelias reson a huge chance tomoro...any thoughts?
  • DarkDark    909 posts
Going on his only start FF is the most overated horse going around. It won on a day when their was a masive headwind, the cutaway was in use, 2 horses came from second last to win and 2 horses came from stone cold last!!!

That wont happen again at Ascot for a long long time.

PHENOMENONS will win as he likes.

G'day breaka..thats what we try to be all about on here

I think Amelia's reason is a chance but is taking on older horses for the first time tomorrow and without a trial its hard to say for sure.Should be thereabouts if he were to reproduce his 2 y.o form here.Anecdotal is perhaps the horse to beat in that race imo.

If PHENOMENONS starts the other might as well not show up. This horse is that far ahead of the rest its scary!

Only beat the tiring Liquidation by 3/4 len, and he is many lengths off his best as he is being aimed at March/April and was for that run overweight. Phenomenons is a talented horse, but I'm unsure about being scary, as he didnt win the race in question.
This is true, but Liquidation had a 6L headstart and didn't go around a horse. I'd suggest Phenomenons is a much better animal than Liquidation even accounting for Liquidation being fat.
liquidation is still fat and has barrier 17 on saturday so there is a good chance he wont beat phenomenons this saturday but i can bet you he will finsh in front of phenomenoms every start after!!!!!!!!!!!
With even luck LIQUIDATION wont get near PHENOMENONS this, or any start this prep... possibly ever! Unless hes getting 6 or 7kg off him.

    You were saying ??????

    gee huge wraps on Phenomenons

The horse must be for sale with this much publicity being generated. So does anyone think it is currently worth $1M ?
Well I don't think the phone will be running hot after consecutive Saturday defeats. He got a weight advantage and still was left wanting by a length to Liquidation.

For mine, this years Derby winner just surfaced.

He still got bottled up again today and lost ground down the back straight, I prefer to see him coming down the outside - he just never really got going today!

However he is still young and I feel he has a lot of untapped potential - which once he learns the lessons of racing, he'll be successful - how much? well that's anyone's guess!

He will win races, but it would appear he is the type of horse that needs everything in his favour!

Wouldn't be taking anything under $4 for him in features this prep!
  • TheDivaTheDiva    13,248 posts
Well if you are correct and he does require all the stars to be aligned, in order to reach that galaxy orbit someone thought he was already in ??? then his wins are going to be seldom. He will prove to be a hard horse to catch for punters as well, as he cost a few today who didn't heed the warning.

You will find that phenomonans will be a better horse when he's 4 or 5. dont worry punters he will win some serious $$$ next prep.
