what a cocktail!!
sadly looks like the end of diamond dan.
for those that haven't read it.

Staeck's a stronger character than you give him credit for being and is obviously trying to get some help but I wouldn't expect compassion from the likes of the clowns on here or the Inside Cover ghost writer Edwards, headlines like that just make it a zillion times harder for someone trying to do the right thing or from the integrity or rather the lack of integrity leaker at RWWA.
I'm sure however the ladies sewing circle on here will have a field day now though

The reporter should have saved some time and listed the drugs that WEREN'T found in his system. Or perhaps written something like "traces of blood were found in his drug stream" and left it at that... :(|)

As a regular to the site I am really peeved of only finding out about the sewing circle now!!!!
I couldn't imagine too many of us jumping on anyone for having a substance problem. It's just not what we want in our industry. The paper is correct to report it. The report seemed fairly factual. He will be dealt with by the authorities and if he wants to be in the industry in the future he will be.
This should be made public...its when people hide stuff, lie about it and don't want to take the punishment for their crimes that some of us go off the deep end and occasionally over react. Maybe if he is found guilty as charged and is handed a penalty we will all get a bit willing about whether the penalty (if found guilty) befits the crime.

You talk like you have the inside info on Staeck..Just what help is he getting??... 6 years clean myself but will always be classed as a drug addict, just like an alcoholic is always an alcoholic. Is he now in rehab?, will this be adjourned as he is now indisposed ie rehab??. Please do tell Andrew Carter has he found hell yet?? as that is the point in yourself and your mind you go to before you scratch and claw your way back to being drug free. Oh I could tell you a story about what its like to drag your arse back from the hell you have created, but the demons I have fought are just that ..my own personal demons. Good luck to him as the battle he faces is huge and only one person can help him if they truly want to...that is he himself.

And this last case has what to do with him???. Oh let me guess, its the new foremans fault??? Pleeeeeease.
I have always been taught that you have choices in your life if you choose to make bad decisions with them then you need to be responsible for them. Even if what you are suggesting may have happened surely as an individual you have the right to say no. Not sure the trainer had a gun to the guys head when he was on the other side of the country. My mail says they have nothing other than a needle mark and they will not find anything because there is nothing there. In reference to the choir boy not sure any credibility would be taken from someone of his standing if as reffered in the previous posts that they may reopen the ranger case.

reckon you'll be waiting a bloody long time, spud.
this saga will have more twists than a christie novel.
Interesting.
