I disagree that P. King is the worst, and that stat is a little misleading.
P. King will ride any horse, and I think you may find a significant number of those rides had very little hope in the race. I would be interested to see how many started at 25/1 or longer.
Nothing precious about The Duck, there should be more hoops like him.

Top 5 Jockeys (J Brown) - Please, on what planet. P Harvey even this late in his career is still daylight ahead. His ability to judge tempo/pace and pick one up and get them over the line is uncanny.
Thereafter,
Noske, the up and coming P Harvey, what he has been able to achieve on the support of primarily smaller stables speaks volumes
Knuckey, Smarter than the average bear and tactically very astute.
Pike, gets the best rides, but generally gets the job done
C Harvey, Group 1 winning jock, who rides with his heart on his sleeve, doesn't ride the same one dimensional race 90% of the others ride week in, week out. This guy is a super jock, distractions aside with the right support he is as good as any on his day
Apprentices - Surprised Jerry Noske didn't warrant a mention, on what she has done in the past twelve months I think she is certainly the up and coming apprentice. Getting more support and better horses every week now.

Funniest think I have seen on a racetrack couple regular punters walking round the betting ring with a cardboard sign
The Duck 100 losers in a row !

i think for the odds of most of his rides he's done well to get two home!!! ;)

strike rate is a nonsensical way to enumerate a rider's ability.
when i first started doing wa, he was one of their best.

So Paul King is supposed to upgrade peoples horses as soon as he jumps on? My gosh.... statistically he looks woeful, but for the riding fee you get for going around, it is a quick way of earning $100. Put him on an odds on favourite which has a white picket fence record and I guarantee he will give it every chance.
The most frustrating Jockeys to back would be Staples and Shooter....Top blokes but!
