but it IS all piecing together.
surely the Trainers are involved in all these rorts ;), if not why keep putting them on
It was an arrogant, overconfident and bewildering ride but there was nothing sinister about it, he just had a brain snap.
Dont worry about it then.
Must remember that next time .
Watch out for jocks brain snapping
Rightly or wrongly jockeys are prone to making mistakes at times as they're human and Staecky rode an extremely arrogant and overconfident race
andrew why are you presuming all those that don't agree with you are losers(sore or otherwise)?
i had something on mr moet, global flirt and pop culture, so i am not talking through my kick when i say i am very happy mr moet did not win.
Fortunately I had something very small on Babieca Noire in the last and got my Mr Moet money back as I've been following Babieca Noire and was on it for a good result last start when it should have bolted in.
he is undoubtedly a very good rider.
so yesterday is just an aberration you think?
what do reckon a fair amount for aberrations is?
good riders 'aberrate' much less than bad ones don't they?
Lets see how the fact compare to this conspiracy theory nonsense, Mable Grace's further than 1600m record, 25/11/2009 unplaced in a 1675m bunbury maiden, 5/6/2010 2nd btn a 1/2 length as 4/5 favourite in 62-74 Belmont 1650m event by that champion danish conquerer, 21/5/2011 3rd btn 1.5l in 80+ rating 3yo and up Belmont 2000m 80+event by Sense Of Purpose and Amberlyn in a six horse field as $3.20 second favourite, 4/6/2011 7th btn 4 1/ 2 lengths to Sense of Purpose Belmont 2100m in a 80 + rater as the $5 equal second favourite with its next attempt over anything further than a mile only occurring yesterday.
Yes, of course you would deliberately go out and set a very solid tempo for it knowing confidently that it would strongly run out a step further than a mile.
In fact the trainer was so impressed by the mare's middle distance prowess that in its15 starts (includes yesterday performance) since that failure over 2100m that he raced it over a mile three times prior to yesterday for a belmont 1600m win on 28/4/2012 beating Our Ol Fella, a non winner, by 1.5 lengths (Our Ol fella despite being consistently thereabout hasn't seriously looked like winning a race since that day), 2/6/2012 a Belmont 2nd in a 1600m 86 + rater when convincingly btn 1.5 lengths by that star Brother Patrick as a 1.75 favourite and its last start unplaced effort when 6th btn 4lengths by Upon This Rock over 1600m.
So yes with form like that and an outstanding record over further than a mile, you would definitely go out and set a fast pace in order to set up a race for a horse with such a proven record over the trip, I suggest you go back to the drawing board mate.
Oh, hang on, you were talking about Staeky.
In my opinion jocks who regularly ride more than 2 or 3 poor races out of every ten mounts over an extended period of time I don't really want to know about them .
or the stable rep. who was here with the horse?
eastern state journos would be onto the stable rep. like maggots onto a mutton chop....and even ringing Gai..
one thing i don't need is you telling how to do my job, thank you very much.
and i asked you a simple question, it just needed a simple answer without the ranting.
a great record over 1600, and if you were smart enough to know what you are looking at you would also know further would likely be no problem.
time for you to find something you are good at, at please nothing analytic or you will be in big trouble.
In saying that it was very well weighted yesterday and the classier well performed horses are hugely advantaged every year by the weight conditions of that event.
The fact that it outstayed Miss Tipsy Topsy suggested that Miss Tipsy Topsy was still short of a run as its appearance to me in the mounting yard indicated that and it ran accordingly. It was the winner on the corner and for once when I was on Whiting had done everything right.
the way the race panned out, the favourite had none, thus her chances increased markedly.
whatever the reason.
also, the distance was never going to be a problem in that grade, or even stronger imo.
and of one thing i am sure, my opinion is better than yours. =))
