WATC is still the entity trading as Perth Racing.
-
I was trained by Roy Shaw in Melbourne.

Pollett is not only a punter but is also part of the Racing Media and the precedent was set when Bret Zerafa was disciplined over the Camilleri/Mounting Yard information.
-
The fact that some people do not take exception to Pollett"s comments and have empathy for his penalty is a sad indictment on the society that we live in today.

Whilst there are 4 or 5 who have problems the other 30-35 in the squad seemed to have come through quite okay.Lets say 5 of the 40 had/have problems. About 10%, probably not far off the state average for people under 30....Not to his extreme level a…

The point being Rio is that we all had a first post at some time. There was no suggestion your first post may have been similar to Charger"s.
-
Nah spinking..why would you get upset about a first time poster....we all know it is a bait so why bite?? You were a first time poster 11,527 posts ago Rio.

The national race clock decides how long between races not Perth Racing or RWWA. Too much money involved to do your own thing.
-
Pretty good results given that these horses have come from the supposed backwater of Australian Racing where no one has any idea.
-
at least they have a believable price expectation now......next year I'd guess at $150mil. Probably not worth the hassle of selling now. Just let it die a slow natural death all by itself over the next daecade or so Just like it has over the last de…

Racing Bets Levy Regulations 2009On 1 October 2014, a differential racing bets levy structure was introduced, the turnover threshold was increased and changes were made to the manner in which premium racing is determined in Western Australia. The tur…

Personally I would rather have Bookmakers' ownership out in the open and transparent rather than the alternative many years ago when Bookies owned horses under other peoples names.
-
I was wondering why it took so long to open an inquiry given how blatant the ride was.
-
Can't wait for Round 11 when the match of the year will be played Dockers V Essendon.
-
Occy good to see that you are still alive after Saturday's submission.
-
Dockers walking wounded and gone for all money. Time to bite the bullet and call time on a number of great servants. Play the young ones and see what they can bring to the table. Brady Grey and Wella have futures and looking forward to a fit Connor…

And by the way Rio I was never really convinced but Gaff has developed into a very good player. At least he never went missing unlike "Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane" when the pressure goes on, Jack Darling who never troubled the scorers at all.
-
Eagles have adopted the Dockers catch cry from the last two seasons of "Anyone. Anywhere, Anytime" but have added the following two conditions: Only at Domain stadium and against bottom eight teams.
-
Thank you for clarifying that SP.

It would be extremely doubtful that HK would take on trainers disqualified in Australia, it is not Malaysia. Then again Australia licensed Munce when he was disqualified in HK, but HK has a much higher integrity benchmark.
-
And what will Mark McGowan do that is not being done now. Apart from what they currently get from RWWA. Mark wouldnt know where the race tracks are let alone what betting is. Very disrespectful of a former Minister for Racing Buffy :-j
-
RGL governance of RWWA would be miniscule and if RGL are claiming that they require substantial government funding for that purpose that would be ridiculous.
-
Distribution to the racing industry comes out of that profit so a new operator would not be getting anywhere near that return. The only way a new operator could increase their net profit would be by savings in operations assuming they were an existi…

I fail to see how it can be worth less each year based on trading results over the past 10 years. Are you predicting a substantial fall in revenue for RWWA Rio?
-
The valuation may be a bit conservative but for anyone who has cared to read the RWWA financial accounts it was never going to be in the $1bn range. The valuation may put the handbrake on those within the industry who are supporting the sale and hop…
