It is fairly obvious which stallions are "proven" and/or quality and which ones are the new kids on the block. It is the natural progression that stallions will come and go. Some will succeed and others won't. No big deal really. Happens everywhere.

Also, commiserations to Miss Bux's owner, trainer, jockey and stable staff. It would be a huge kick in the guts to have this injury to a promising filly. Very sad indeed.

Not saying another stallion has done better, just that they need to take the next step as 3yos and over. Same was said on here for Oratorio some time back. Hopefully the Scandal Keepers do take the next step, WA needs a new gun sire.

I agree, they have raced on well. Some have exceeded expectations. DA has been magnificent.

I know the jockeys sometimes wear spurs in trackwork and give them a dig in the ribs when it is time to go in the straight going to the line. It reminds the horse it is time to get going without being overly severe on them.
