she features prominently on the reality tv show 'jockeys'. The show also follows her on off boyfriend Mike Smith, rider of Zenyatta, and ex South Aussie Kayla Stra. Shows on Sky.

alezan thunder out.
-
good mail PB. I had heard that as well.
-
reliably informed by people that would know that the inside pad of the track resembles a bowling green. Should ensure an absolute dynamite rail bias for one of our feature days, which surely must be the track managers intention given how often it o…

that is a disgrace.

agree funkster. DA is a moral in my book. It will be charge of the light brigade. El Rijes, Miami Horror and DA to find the fence!
-
You are dead right Mailman. It is a disgrace that so many of the feature race days are ruined here in Perth by the 'fast pad' on the inside with the rail back to the true position. Pointless entering a horse unless you draw well.

I'm not ruling out Miss Solis. Her best attribute may well be her trainer. IMO he has panels on the rest especially when it comes to juveniles. They have had a horror run with barriers in 2 year old feature races. Lets take a look. Night War 13 of …

There was a very interesting article on breednet.com.au which i think is now on lucianiracing.com.au which offers a contrary view in some regards. Essentially it states along the lines that according to their studies, horses that race as 2 year old…

Food for thought. Dashitude well backed favourite won well today in the first at Melb. Beaten by Alezan Thunder into 6th a couple of weeks ago in Adelaide. Both still a chance to run next Saturday in the KP.
-
right you are.
-
Lindsay loves being unorthodox. Fuddle Dee duddle nominated for Saturday. If she runs and then backs up in the KP it will be runs in 3 weeks. Be very interesting to see if Fuddle can handle it.

Wow. Joe Byrne had some luck this morning. All the other emergencies scratched leaving Sky Princess to get a start. Fortuitous last opportunity for Karakatta qualification. Get on methinks.
-
If Shane gets 5 winners he might scratch his face off with that nervous itch he gets after winners!

husson lightning.

There will be a significant weight turnaround for the fillies against the colts/geldings in the KP. The place getting fillies also ran about .6 quicker than the Perth Stakes yesterday carrying a kilo more. For this reason I think fillies will domin…

How do they test lung capacity in racehorses? Humans undergo a VO2 test. Is it similar?
-
Apparently DMAC thinks Vonlenska is the 'most talented' horse in the Gimcrack field according to the post match interview for El Rijes. Might be true, I will watch with interest.
-
Stating the obvious but barriers will be so important in this race.
-
Good luck to Neven Botica with Strike the Stars in the Guineas. Not without a chance.
-
Just to clarify. Vonlenska not far behind in stakes placing.
-
Yep, fair enough. Travel is always a huge obstacle i agree with you there.
-
Nice Funkster. I am a big fan of the sire. Is on fire in the Northern Hemisphere. Lets hope he translates that success in Australia. Family Portrait is now stakes placed in that race on Monday you classified as 'weak'. Vonlenska might not be too…

I was more talking about 2 year old form, not which horses go on as older horses. Simplistically Alezan Thunder has form around Driefontein and No Looking back. No Looking Back chased home Samaready in the Blue Diamond. You made the comment Aleza…

you may be right funkster in regards to the tall order in travelling to WA. AT has won 240k from 5 starts in 3 states. I'd take that any day. I think Sabie, who defeated AT is a little better than average also. I'm not sure the Perth 2 year olds …

i think Alezan thunder can figure. As to being vulnerable over 6 furlongs lets not forget she did run 1200 at Gold Coast MM beaten a length by Driefontein and No looking Back. Maybe the trainer had been a little soft on her, easy to do with 2 year o…

For what it is worth. From the barriers I think the Aquanita filly's will fill the quinella. Given their position in the market hardly a revelation I know. Carberry to MS interesting. Couple of nice pick ups for P Harvey, Darlington and PPrince…

The halves to all those horses you mentioned available at Easter haven't won a Group 2 by panels at their second start in a race as an entire. They are also not a half brother to the Worlds greatest sprinter who has never been beaten in her career.

I think 20 mill right now is probably a bit high. I also think that at 3 million 'someone is having a lend of you' Damien. Could sell for that right now if he was a gelding. Look at the money that was on offer for Manawanui. Horses sell to Hong Ko…

Must admit I thought 3mill was a bit light. Just watched Racing Retro Crew (Freedman and Dufficy) who thought 10-20 mill right now.
