Can only the barrier draw stop Aurum Belle? On paper and times run, she is 4 to 6 lengths faster than anything else in this field outside of Maria Lucia. I didn't know the barrier when I made this comment, I can't believe it drew so badly. Probably …

You could be right there around $30,but i see the Quokka is $45.00 I think they are using a flawed strategy. Money is a bit tight for a lot of folks and this is putting Racing out of the hands of a lot.

Well placed sources say the WA Derby was the worst attended in decades. As I don't live in WA anymore, can someone tell me if Perth Racing still charge an entry fee? The on air quote "going through tough times" is not worthy of a high priced legal…

Paul has had an extended layoff due to an injury that required surgery and will return to race riding in the near future. I watched his two trials a couple of weeks ago and he sat on like days of old, looked very in the saddle.

Back in the day, newspapers used to report the big bets and who made them. That was until Chris Murphy, a senior defence lawyer, got something like 7 out of 8 winners at Rosehill one day turning $10k into $1.8M and buying a block of flats in Bondi. …

I remember those guys straddling the fence between the Members and the great unwashed, swinging the satchels and giving you tickets that were written in code. McHugh was Packers bookie until he wanted to bet in $1M units

I think Watch Me Rock needs to come home.

Looks more like the Dam and less like the trial. Maybe Bob needs to wait for a bit before he gets the gun two year old. Here The Boom did improve. I hope those that punt maybe took some of the each way value.

In the first Treasured Legacy. Looks like a very good filly out of a dreadfully slow mare called Prized Miss. Bob must have known something about the mare to even send her to Stud because he doesn't normally lower his standards that much. I really l…

I spoke with someone during the week that said the facilities for Owners were better than ever but if you have a runner engaged.

Racing.com apparently has Ascot coverage on Ch68 but they must only show races once the Eastern States are finished. Ch 7 has nothing here in Tasmania.

You're welcome Falcon

Get it early with R1 Aurum Belle a fast Snitzel filly out of a multiple black type mare. Won both trials running around in the straight, so if she can maintain a line through her continuing education since then she will give this a huge shake. Race…

I like hearing what the losing Jockeys had to say. Still waiting for one of them to answer 'did you see which way they went?'
