Is the poll a trick question?

If Proart and Captain Woodrow defeat Hay List or either of them, it would rank as one of the biggest boilovers in losing favourites in Perth for a long time.

I think he will blouse this field by upwards of 4 lengths.

so if Tudor Lad wins - you wont be surprised :P

He is the only one that I have a doubt over. At one time I thought this horse was really going to come on, but he just hasnt found that dynamic spark of his previous preparation.

I think Hay List has only a few runs left here in Perth, I think he is up to the best in Melbourne in the Spring.

Hay List has raced on tracks classed as GOOD. This run may see if he has a Walk on Water trick, or if he will need Floaties.

I must be missing something coz this horse has raced three times this prep for two wins and a nose second, I think he is a big chance of beating hay list but I wont be putting my house on it :)

My comments are harsh because of the unfulfilled promise of this horse. He has been beaten by a couple of ordinary horses and his wins have been mostly against ordinary opposition.

Unlike some other people I am yet to be sold on Hay List as a real top calibre galloper - a lot of the fields he has beaten have been lacking in depth and of course only 3yo company (Destroid who he only beat 3/4 length a classic example) - he has beaten them all very well but this race is a decent step up in class - there are proven stakes performers in Proart and Centrum amongst some very consistent gallopers.

I think he probably should be favorite and if he beat these horses comprehensively then my opinion will change.

I dont think he will be a betting proposition unless $3+ is available (which I highly doubt).

PS- I am interested to see the blinkers come off, seems to indicate they will look for a sit in the field.

1st up WA R7 SPARTAN IDOL- JUSTIN PARSONS ( sorry fear this).

Last start winner at Wagga : 0-77Hcp In July. Competitive Metro Winning Sprinter

    $11000 Sold

Rated 63. Always puts in. Great style of a horse, clean as a whistle, both in the legs and wind. No vices. Very hardy, robust animal. Loves the wet. Metro winner - Morphetville, also in the wet. Genuine sale - Owner/Trainer has taken up a private training job interstate so selling most of his stock. Will do well any where interstate
    was R Jolly.

Hay List will win this comprehensively.

Della 'not yet sold' is fair enough given the starts to date, but the wraps close to camp are huge. Trainer has awesome record and seems to know when they are up to it. Take on trust that he has some ticker  This will be his biggets test (yet).

Don't get excited much about animals these days, but Hay List excites me. 600kg and can put em down that fast - put simply he is a freak.

Par would be a 3L win. IMHO in time he will have DV, DT, DB, MMM and maybe even SB covered.

Darn right. I am a massive massive wrap on the horse.

    Best Bets:
Hay List - potential Railway horse, impressive looking animal :!:
Black Print - finally given a week off last week to recover from his first 3 starts in 15 days. We should see the real Black Print this week.
Only slight concern about both is possible wet track.

    Best each-way:
Viking Legend in the Run to the Rose in Sydney. Should be nice odds.

    Good Luck!

Damn straight, he is one serious race horse. Although unproven, certainly time will show he'll have them covered over 1200m+

He certainly wouldnt have DT covered over 1000 - 1200 :)

He would lead this field if he wanted. He will make an absolute mess of them either way.

Gee thats dissapointing, not that it will matter to his price because he'll be short anyway, but it would've been good to size up the margin against Centrum to get a guide on him.

May not assist tommorrow but with some doubt over his head against questionable stock, his next race against top quality may be at a better price for the punter. I can't see him being much more than starting at $2.00 and expect odds on

Fair point Del regarding Zutdorp and Decryptor getting the trip but with the right runs and they both have drawn well will be hard to beat also Decryptor loves the sting out of the deck .

20% less of the field to have to go round, but also 20% less excuses if he does not pull it off. Now it is getting interesting.

Little Boy Blue- you don't miss a trick!!
It wasn't R. Jolly- it is Adrian aka Charlie Witt - moved somewhere here in WA at a stud down near Margaret River so i am told.

Horse won at Morphetville. And he CAN walk on water.. hope it keeps on raining and he remembers which direction he's going. Hard field but interesting to see how horse runs. He only been here 21 days... 8) 8)
    See you there maybe?
