Melbourne cup tickets

East Coast Racing
I've done the google thing and may have made my run to late but is there any rip/marquee tickets out there?
I will never do the grandstand again and would rather make this a terribly over expensive event this year.
Any help appreciated.

Last time I couldn't see sh@t because of an ice cream shack in front of our reserved seating, nearly needed help each time to find my way back through the crowd bumping into every person like a pin ball machine is was crap. Looked at the Marquees with beer at there finger tips and to screens and betting machine, nice nibbles on the tables and I thought f@uk it I'm doing that next time.

yeah the hill stand is great, best views of the track and easy to get a beer at the bars.

Hill stand is booked out so I thought a marquee would be better then sitting down below, where we sat last time.

Maybe get the derby day/cup day double ticket then on sell the derby day one. Its funny last year when we went myself and the better half got the Hill stand tickets but the group we went with just got GA, they had a good time but as you said I couldnt understand why you would want to try view the races from down there when you could pay a bit extra and get that reserved seat.

Pretty sure some of the package/marque options you would be looking at have the seat in the hill stand as well.

Got my tickets the day they came online and nowhere near as good as in previous years. I'm not sure if some of the stand is being used for members due to the work on their stand.

Each year they manage to change something to stuff up a good day. Last year it was not being able to access the Taberet from inside the Hill Stand and a dramatic decrease in the numbers that could enter it.

Getting a drink has become ridiculous, hence ducking down to the Taberet has been the quickest way to get one the past few years.

Anyway, looking forward to another week of relaxation.

The relaxation part comes at the end of the day when he's back in his hotel.... Swimming in pineapples and sipping on Moët
