Getting the thread started for discussion.

Khawaja the sucker horse back in over 1800 but has had several weeks off and against Delantero who will be around $1.20 if u r lucky. Also have been following Mr Alby in same race but put in a shocka last start.

Wonder Clever Dick will stand up in R1???
2 more I ahve been following in R7 is Parading and Tuckys Lad which has drawn an alley this week.

Delantero is $2.20 gray... You'd go broke real quick as a bookie (just like me haha)

    One for the BlackBook
One of my favs St Stephen is second up from Mt Barker and goes around tomorrow in the last at $61. Not the worst in that race and prob wont win but get on third up potentially back at Bunbury over 1690m. Celtic Wizard should be right in the mix at $6 and would be the smarter bet as it was scratched at the barriers in a Saturday race last time out.

yeah sounds like a sucker race Delantero should of opened much shorter, they may be dangling a bait for something else to win. Just a theory.

     Khawaja equal 2nd favourite
If there is a rat I suspect, Mr Alby at good odds, had him blackbooked.

Ripper Red has solid form 1st up and loves the distance. poor barrier prolly wont hurt as a swooper.

Do agree $71+ looks overs could run a place!

@Sticks i agree with Royal Strata, wasn't disgraced behind Debellatio and back 100m in trip might strongly test the top two who are drawn awkwardly.
On a 30/70 basis very confident of at least a placing.

R5)Agree not as much, does look very open but i think that Festive Excess can win altho his 3/28 win ratio isnt flash.Noske might lead or get the box seat 3rd the fence & 1000m suits.Even Mr Motown could figure if they overdo it up front he is the class runner, $18 looks a decent price for a speck B-)

Lay of the day - r6 Burning Magic “Still a maiden after 10 starts, this 3yo filly certainly faces a few obstacles today. My concerns are a sharp rise in distance from 1200m to 1800m, a rise in grade, to be ridden by an underperforming jockey and trained by a big underperforming stable. At the current fixed odds of $4.60 I cannot possibly see any value hence I am happy to be against.”

The race was won just before the corner. Knuckey caught napping and O'donnel went round him, then Knuckey was in all sorts of trouble and O'donnel just said see you later. Well thats what I thought
