Derby Cup Meeting - Tipping Comp Week 5

Back to the Golf Course and the Boabs again this week.

Non TAB meeting so lets keep it simple with only Win and Place bets.

Derby Cup is one of the great meetings, I look forward to it every year. Let's hope they get a bit of a crowd there and there is plenty of money to make the Bookies competitive. I had $50 on a $17 chance with one of the so called "bookies" at Broome last week - it was a heavily leader biased day, and I thought it would lead easily. Anyhow, end result, the "bookmaker" wound it in from $17 to $4.80......What a joke.............Missed the kick and ran well back

    They obviously aren't use to taking massive bets like yours in Broome, BC4E. :D

    Just for my own interest, how many bookies were working there, and did the others follow suit and wind it into $4.80 as well?

    Really like this meeting, think I can find a few. Will be driving over after Junior Footy on Saturday, and hopefully may be leading in a couple of winners.

    3 of the 4 are good, you can get a decent bet on. It's just one weasel that won't let you have a go. If he knocks mne back tomorrow, I will be taking him to the stewards.
