    Nice one.

Our man Greg Hooper is over at Ascot for the 5 days of the carnival.

He has promised some photos and previews of the meeting, which I will post on the homepage.

Apparently customs in the UK searched her, took her body suit off!

Wonder if they thought she had drugs strapped to her body?

Seven will telecast Black Caviar live from Royal Ascot as the mare looks to confirm her status as the world's best sprinter.

Hosted by Bruce McAvaney, Seven will join the BBC coverage of the entire race day from Royal Ascot on Saturday June 23, as the Peter Moody-trained wonder-horse attempts to extend her unbeaten run to 22 consecutive races.

Seven Head of Sport Saul Shtein commented: "Not since Phar Lap left these shores bound for America 80 years ago has an Australian horse generated so much interest."

A miserable start to Summer weatherwise in UK. Another scenario is the track condition on the day could play a part. What a fizzle if BC is scratched due to the conditions.

ENGLAND'S famous Newmarket racecourse has never seen anything like it.

At 4.30am, champion Black Caviar emerged from her stable base here at Newmarket for early morning exercise.

The mighty mare only galloped at half pace but it proved headline grabbing stuff as more than 100 local and international media turned up to watch her go through her paces.

In England, locals don't start trackwork until after 6.30am but Black Caviar doesn't live by normal conventions.

The unbeaten winner of 21 races looks in magnificent condition, putting on virtually all the weight she lost on the flight over from Melbourne last week.

Trainer Peter Moody is due to arrive in England later today and will inspect the great Black Caviar before determining whether she needs another fast work-out prior to the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 23.

As Black Caviar dominated the media's focus, Australia's other Royal Ascot runner, Ortensia, was restricted to walking exercise after pleasing trainer Paul Messara with a solid work-out at Newmarket yesterday.

Ortensia is due to contest the Group 1 King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot next Tuesday.

On Monday night Australian Story has exclusive access to the team behind champion mare Black Caviar ahead of her Royal Ascot debut.

This is the second Australian Story on Black Caviar and still the first and only animal to feature on the program in its fifteen year history.

In the early hours of Sunday, June 24 tens of thousands of Australians are expected to set their alarms to watch a horse race in England. The unbeaten champion, Black Caviar will take on Europe?s best at Royal Ascot, in front of the Queen.

?The reason the industry wakes before everybody else, every morning of the year, is the promise of a Black Caviar. For history and prestige there?s nothing that compares to Royal Ascot. On her status as the best sprinter in the world and the best sprinter of all time, she should be winning this race,? says Gerard Whateley, Black Caviar?s biographer.

It?s a success story in which many have played a part. To Set Before a Queen is the fascinating inside story of the making of Black Caviar, stretching back across the generations. Black Caviar is out of mare Helsinge by stallion Bel Esprit with blood links to legendary champion Vain on the sire and dam sides.

The edition features exclusive access to Black Caviar?s media-shy breeder, Rick Jamieson; AFL legend Kevin Sheedy who is part-owner of Bel Esprit; Equine Advisor who found Helsinge, Peter Ford with assured contribution by Gerard Whateley, Black Caviar?s official biographer.

It also features exclusive vision of Black Caviar?s new full sister in utero.

?For me the challenge now, I want to do it again,? says breeder Rick Jamieson.

?Rick Jamieson hates the spotlight but there?s people out there who want to know the Black Caviar story and everything to do with it,? says Peter Ford, equine advisor who FOUND Helsinge, Black Caviar?s dame.

    Monday, June 18 at 8pm on ABC1.

Any thoughts on whether BC will be around the same price in england, around the $1.20 or $1.30? Or would you expect something a little more generous?
Am heading over there for the race this week.

Putting Frankel, Ortensia, So you think and Black Caviar in a multi on pays just over $10 as of about 1pm 19/6/12.
I guess so you thinks price did go down and so did Frankels in the last day or so.

no idea how these dicks got hold of my personal email as i don't bet with corporates, ever.
so you join up, and the $2 is all gone, or probably limited to two and sixpence size bets.

    And it's only 500 people x $50 bets - basic 101 of advertising.

CHAMPION mare Black Caviar completed her preparation for the Diamond Jubilee Stakes (a1200m) with her fastest track gallop since arriving in England yesterday.

Black Caviar has only done pace work at Newmarket but trainer Peter Moody gave her the opportunity to "stretch her legs" with a 200m sprint at the end of her morning workout.

Moody maintains that Black Caviar has never been in better condition than she is for Saturday's Group 1 contest at Royal Ascot.

Black Caviar, dubbed the "Wonder from Down Under" by the English press, has now firmed in to, 1/3 favourite for the feature sprint with local bookmakers.

Some English bookies were betting as much as 1/5 last week about Black Caviar but the upbeat mood of Moody and the mighty mare's connections has left them weary.

There are still 20 sprinters in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes but only half that number are expected to line up against the Australian at the weekend
The final field for the Diamond Jubilee Stakes and the barrier draw are due out tomorrow.

Moody has declared there will be no excuses if Black Caviar can not extend her unbeaten record to 22 wins in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes.

"We are extremely confident," Moody said.

"On facts and figures there is not a sprinter in the world that can beat her.

"We can't be any happier with her condition and I am looking forward to Saturday."

Peter Moody is yet to make up his mind regarding whether Black Caviar will remain in England and contest the July Cup at Newmarket next month, indicating that there is possibility she could return home after just the one run.

TAB Sportsbet Fixed Odds have cut Black Caviar's price to $1.25 for the Diamond Jubilee with Moonlight Cloud and Bated Breath on the second line of betting, priced at $7.

She has drawn 15 in a field of 15. That is on the stand side.

Track now good to soft with 8mm overnight and some showers expected over the next 3 days.

Seems Moody isn't worried about the barrier or conditions! 8)
