I know we all have our favorite horses. I'm wondering though are there any "favorite" horses out there with the punters in terms of you just have to be on when they go around. I don't have any at the moment but in my younger days i used to get on the following regardless of the price and the form.
Bluetello (most favorite of all time, dont know what happened to her)
Pogmothon
Pi Meson
Rock of Cashel
Quasarock
Grid (remember getting on one day and paid 60-1)
Son of Vasac
Electic
There was just something about missing out if you weren't on. These days probably alot smarter than that, but they provided some good punting stories

What about Abinidab - trained by Gary Martin won first up 16s into 4s!!!
Lucky Jim - former champion juvenile - won first up with Keith Watson - we got told couldnt , not wouldnt , get beat!!!
Geez, this all seems like the other month - some of this stuff goes back 20 years or more - ask what we did at work last week - NFI!!!!
Sport of Kings - nothing better.
Universal Prince-probably my heart overruled my a head a few times when he was beaten by Northerly & Sunline, but I followed him nonetheless. I did back him to win the Canterbury Guineas, AJC Derby & Spring Champion Stakes though, so the horse owed me nothing.
kilrickle...?
remember that good filly millifleurs...trained by jock campbell owned by a lady who had a florist..hence the name.
Dont forget "The Man" 5 successive William Reids - a magnificent looking beast - G> Willetts - sit and steer job on most occasions.
