Favorite horses

I know we all have our favorite horses. I'm wondering though are there any "favorite" horses out there with the punters in terms of you just have to be on when they go around. I don't have any at the moment but in my younger days i used to get on the following regardless of the price and the form.

Bluetello (most favorite of all time, dont know what happened to her)
Pogmothon
Pi Meson
Rock of Cashel
Quasarock
Grid (remember getting on one day and paid 60-1)
Son of Vasac
Electic

There was just something about missing out if you weren't on. These days probably alot smarter than that, but they provided some good punting stories

pretty sure Jesmondene was originally a Pike horse but once Fred Neal got him, he won a heap of races, reckon it was Greg Neals 1st winner when he was still going to school at Governor Stirling
  • I remember as a kid, the 3 major 3 y/o races leading into the summer were Challenge Stakes, Belgravia Stakes ending with the Guineas, Kilrickle and Surrender were the best 3 y/o's by a lap, they had some great tussles with Treen on Kilrickle and Moore on Surrender

Remember the clashes between Abarsaga and Mourilko they were decent horses

Super Elegant-great old horse won the Goodwood-Doomben 10,000 double over sucessive weeks and three successive Rubiton Stakes.

Universal Prince-probably my heart overruled my a head a few times when he was beaten by Northerly & Sunline, but I followed him nonetheless. I did back him to win the Canterbury Guineas, AJC Derby & Spring Champion Stakes though, so the horse owed me nothing.

surrender by indian conquest...owned by sheila gwynne
    kilrickle...?

remember that good filly millifleurs...trained by jock campbell owned by a lady who had a florist..hence the name.
