Race 1: SWAN DRAUGHT ON TAP MAIDEN (2000m)
This is a stayers' maiden where tactical positioning is everything. Lord Arcadia stands out as a horse with a significant class edge. He was a brave third over 2200m here recently after being forced to work wide early to find the lead. He has placed in 50% of his career starts and maps to get a much softer run from barrier 6 today. The main threat is Faradio, who finished just ahead of him last time out. Faradio led that day and gave a massive sight, but Lord Arcadia’s prior form in RTG 57+ grade suggests he has the higher ceiling.
Recommended Bet: High (2 Units) — Lord Arcadia ($2.40)
| Selection | Danger |
| Lord Arcadia: Placed 2/4. Drops from higher grade and maps perfectly. | Faradio: On-speed runner who will look to dictate the tempo. |
Betting Market (105%): Lord Arcadia $2.20; Faradio $3.10; Gold Enigma $7.00; Rare Honor $12.00; Others $26.00+
Race 2: TABTOUCH PAST THE POST PAYOUTS MAIDEN (1600m)
Midnight Star is arguably the most consistent horse in this field, having found the frame in 5 of her 8 career starts. Her last-start second over this track and distance was full of merit, producing the best final 400m of the race. She settles midfield but has the turn of foot to overhaul these. Saucisson is the obvious danger, coming off a strong second at York. He has a high rating (59) and Jason Whiting is a master of timing these mid-distance runs.
Recommended Bet: Medium (1.5 Units) — Midnight Star ($3.20)
| Selection | Danger |
| Midnight Star: High strike rate (62%) and elite finishing speed. | Saucisson: Consistent ratings and maps to settle closer. |
Betting Market (105%): Midnight Star $2.80; Saucisson $4.20; Magic Carats $6.50; Hundred Yards $9.00; Others $18.00+
Race 3: OWEN RUSSELL MEMORIAL MAIDEN (1200m)
A competitive 3YO sprint. Mamma Says So has been knocking loudly on the door with two consecutive seconds at Bunbury and Ascot. She went forward to lead last time and was only nabbed late by a smart one. With Brad Parnham jumping on from a wide gate, expect them to be aggressive early. If she can clear the field, she’ll be hard to catch. Quokka Rocka is the x-factor, having placed on debut at Belmont before a long layoff. Recent trials suggest he hasn't lost his speed.
Recommended Bet: Bet (1 Unit) — Mamma Says So ($3.90)
| Selection | Danger |
| Mamma Says So: Hard-fit and coming off elite metro-level ratings. | Quokka Rocka: Placed at only start; trial form is sharp. |
Betting Market (105%): Mamma Says So $3.50; Quokka Rocka $4.80; Golden Chatter $6.00; Snipelisa $8.00; Others $15.00+
Race 4: TABTOUCH SHARE MY BET MAIDEN (1300m)
The "Wizard of the West" William Pike teams up with the Simon Miller stable here on Batista, and that is usually a recipe for a short-priced winner. Batista was heavily supported last start and just missed after being poised to strike at the 400m. He carries a Rtg 60 and should find this slightly easier. King Brew is the fascinating runner; two starts for two seconds. He is a 6YO gelding with very few miles on the clock, suggesting he has had issues, but his raw ratings are equal to the favorite.
Recommended Bet: Medium (1.5 Units) — Batista ($2.10)
| Selection | Danger |
| Batista: Top-tier jockey/trainer combo. Peak fitness now. | King Brew: Unbeaten in the top two. Serious threat if sound. |
Betting Market (105%): Batista $2.00; King Brew $3.80; Bhullar $7.50; Ginger Ted $14.00; Others $31.00+
Race 5: CHAFF CITY PINJARRA MAIDEN (1300m)
Wheely has shown significant improvement since resuming, recording two strong placings at the Scarpside track. Last start, he loomed as the winner but was outgunned late. He maps to sit just behind a moderate tempo and should have the last crack at them. Universal Talk is the massive danger; he was a runner-up on debut at Northam in good time and his recent trial win at Belmont was effortless.
Recommended Bet: Bet (1 Unit) — Wheely ($3.80)
| Selection | Danger |
| Wheely: Thriving at this track. Hard to beat with a clean run. | Universal Talk: Trialed like a horse destined for better things. |
Betting Market (105%): Wheely $3.30; Universal Talk $3.60; About Turn $5.50; Just Petty Cash $9.00; Others $21.00+

Race 6: TABTOUCH SAME RACE MULTI HANDICAP (1200m)
Dancewithme was super impressive winning at Belmont last start, reeling in the leaders with a powerful burst. She has a 50% top-three strike rate and Chris Parnham sticks with her, which is a major confidence booster. She looks like a horse that will appreciate the long Pinjarra straight. Roaming America is the logical danger coming off a strong maiden win at Ascot, but he carries more weight (59kg) and may find the jump to Class 1 more taxing than the favorite.
Recommended Bet: Bet (1 Unit) — Dancewithme ($4.60)
Betting Market (105%): Dancewithme $4.00; Roaming America $4.50; Show The Way $5.50; Seastic $7.00; Others $15.00+
Race 7: ANDREW RALPH'S DIAMOND JEWELLERS HANDICAP (1200m)
Think Pink Daze is a serious talent. She has won two of her three career starts, including a tough victory at Northam where she sat on-speed and refused to be beaten. William Pike takes the ride today, which likely means she’s the one they all have to beat. Toronado Rocket is a model of consistency and won a Class 1 at Belmont in good style last preparation. His trials leading into this have been quiet but effective.
Recommended Bet: High (2 Units) — Think Pink Daze ($2.20)
Betting Market (105%): Think Pink Daze $2.10; Toronado Rocket $4.50; Miss Valmalenco $6.00; Cassenite $9.00; Others $21.00+
Race 8: FELIX PLAYING ON-COURSE AFTER THE LAST HANDICAP (1400m)
A very open Class 1. Bannered is the class runner here with a Rtg 61. He led and faded at Belmont recently but his previous Pinjarra form is excellent (including a win and a second). Getting back to his home track should see an improved performance. Fearless Talk is the value runner; she ran a massive race for third at Belmont two weeks ago and is a second-up winner in the past.
Recommended Bet: Bet (1 Unit) — Bannered ($3.50)
Betting Market (105%): Bannered $3.30; Can't Catch Me $4.80; Fearless Talk $6.50; Kat Five $8.00; Others $15.00+
Race 9: TABTOUCH PINJARRA CUP (2300m)
The feature of the day. Arcadia Park was clinical in the Bunbury Cup, leading and holding off all challengers. He has an incredible 71% top-three strike rate and stays at the 58.5kg mark thanks to his high rating. He is the map horse—he’ll lead or sit second and make them chase him. Silver Eye was the one flashing home for second in the Bunbury Cup and will be the main danger again. For a "Bomb," Snazzler is at huge odds but is a上次 track/distance winner who loves a scrap.
Recommended Bet: Best Bet (3 Units) — Arcadia Park ($2.60)
Bomb: Snazzler ($26.00)
Betting Market (105%): Arcadia Park $2.50; Silver Eye $3.40; Fear The Wind $7.50; Rocking Society $12.00; Snazzler $15.00; Others $21.00+
Race 10: ALCOA OF AUSTRALIA HANDICAP (1600m)
Sovereign Salute is an upwardly mobile 3YO who looks well-placed here. He destroyed his rivals in a Bunbury maiden before a fighting second at this track over 1500m. He’s carrying a light weight (55.5kg) and has the scope to beat these older horses. Mangifera is the veteran threat; she’s a 50% placer who won two in a row earlier this year. She’ll be the one to catch if she finds the front.
Recommended Bet: Medium (1.5 Units) — Sovereign Salute ($3.30)
Betting Market (105%): Sovereign Salute $3.10; Mangifera $4.40; Elegant Indi $5.50; Striking Fella $8.50; Others $15.00+
