  Can remember my mum bless her soul saying how when she was a kid loved the movie National Velvet then as the years and decades went by said how silly she felt for that because as fantastic to see happen said it was ridiculous and a nonsense of a girl/lady crossing the line first in the the UK Grand National Steeplechase the notion was so far fetched, and a bit of a joke almost.
  
  The year 2021 arrives - four and a quarter miles, ( 6,800 metres ) 30 fences and 40 runners Racheal Blackmore at 31yrs of age becomes the first female jockey to win the Grand National aboard Minella Times.

  Was out the front today mowing the lawn had a break and a chat to the neighbour started off talking about state of origin football finished up waffling on about crab pots - how we got to there don’t know, but in real life conversation changes too.
