Race 1: OWN THE DREAM 2026 MAIDEN (2238m)
The staying test of the day and we have a classic confrontation between recent form and potential. Dandy Flirt is the clear standout here. After a massive finish to grab second over 2200m at this track last start, she finds herself beautifully weighted at 54.5kg. She has the fitness peak required for this grueling trip and the sectional strength to suggest she can pick these up on the turn. Major Magnus is the danger; he was sensational running third after being out the back last time and will appreciate the long run home, though the weight disadvantage to the favorite is the deciding factor.
Recommended Bet: High Confidence (2 Units) - Dandy Flirt ($2.20)
| Selection | Status | Comment |
| Dandy Flirt | Top Pick | Peak fitness, perfectly weighted, track specialist. |
| Major Magnus | Danger | Huge last start effort; needs to stay in touch early. |
Framed Market (105%)
Dandy Flirt: $2.15
Major Magnus: $4.80
She's Resolute: $5.50
Danea Rock: $10.00
Others: $21.00+
Race 2: T.J. DEPIAZZI & SONS MAIDEN (1000m)
A speed map puzzle. Media Mogul is priced like he’s already in the winner's stall, and his trial win at Lark Hill suggests he has plenty under the hood. However, Starchaser represents the better "Scott" value. She is a "fifty percenter" adjacent horse with two placings from six starts and was eye-catching when second-up last preparation. She’s had a grinding effort for fourth recently and should be ready to peak. Mystic Empress showed a nice turn of foot for fifth last start and could surprise if the favorite finds bother from the wide gate.
Recommended Bet: Medium Confidence (1.5 Units) - Starchaser ($10.00)
| Selection | Status | Comment |
| Starchaser | Value | 2nd-up peak expected; proven at the distance. |
| Media Mogul | Danger | Dominant trial form but looks under the odds at $1.85. |
Framed Market (105%)
Media Mogul: $2.10
Mystic Empress: $4.50
Starchaser: $8.50
My Testimony: $12.00
Others: $18.00+
Race 3: WITTENS IRRIGATION & DESIGN MAIDEN (1200m)
This is a maiden where you’ll need the binoculars for some of these first-starters, but the trial of Watto's Mark at Belmont was hard to ignore. He won that heat with authority and looks to have inherited some of the speed his sire, Supido, was famous for. Vampi Queen is the "Bomb" here; her trials have been game, and with Clint Johnston-Porter booked, the stable clearly expects a forward showing.
Recommended Bet: Speculative "Bet" (1 Unit) - Watto's Mark ($3.80)
| Selection | Status | Comment |
| Watto's Mark | Top Pick | Explosive trial winner; looks above this grade. |
| Vampi Queen | Danger | Professional trial performances; top hoop engaged. |
Framed Market (105%)
Watto's Mark: $3.50
Vampi Queen: $3.80
Two Time Charlie: $4.20
Mind Field: $6.00
Others: $15.00+
Race 4: NIXON ELECTRICAL MAIDEN (1400m)
We have found our "Fifty Percenter." Autumn Gem has placed in 50% of her lifetime starts (1 from 2) and produced a career-best effort last start at Pinjarra when finishing second. She is a classic improver reaching a fitness peak. Maschino Moon is the main threat, having needed binoculars to be found at the 400m mark last start before flying home for sixth. If she sits closer, she’s a massive threat.
Recommended Bet: High Confidence (2 Units) - Autumn Gem ($3.10)
| Selection | Status | Comment |
| Autumn Gem | Top Pick | Consistent "fifty percenter"; mapped to get a perfect run. |
| Maschino Moon | Danger | Sectional star; will be charging late. |
Framed Market (105%)
Autumn Gem: $2.90
Maschino Moon: $3.20
Magic Carats: $5.50
Sylva Jack: $10.00
Others: $18.00+
Race 5: SWAN DRAUGHT HANDICAP (1100m)
Note that Blue Can Talk is a scratching here. This leaves the race at the mercy of Rommel's Goddess. She was clinical at Narrogin, pouncing on the lead and running away to win by over two lengths. She has won second-up previously and the weight increase is offset by her class edge. Bundaberg is the obvious danger as the favorite, but he tends to find one better more often than not.
Recommended Bet: Medium Confidence (1.5 Units) - Rommel's Goddess ($5.50)
| Selection | Status | Comment |
| Rommel's Goddess | Top Pick | Dominant last start winner; proven second-up. |
| Bundaberg | Danger | Honest type but usually finds the runner-up stall. |
Framed Market (105%)
Bundaberg: $2.50
Hyperreal: $5.00
Rommel's Goddess: $5.50
American Escape: $8.50
Others: $20.00+
Race 6: TABTOUCH SCAN MY BET HANDICAP (1400m)
Best Bet of the Day. Universal Hotness is the definition of a track specialist. In 18 starts, he has placed 10 times (a 55% strike rate). He loves the Bunbury 1400m (11 starts for 8 placings) and his last two efforts in higher grade have been full of merit. He drops back to Class 1 here and gets his chance to dictate. Pure Silver has a history of running well at this track and is the only logical saver.
Recommended Bet: Best Bet (3 Units) - Universal Hotness ($2.40)
| Selection | Status | Comment |
| Universal Hotness | Best Bet | Elite "fifty percenter"; dominant track/distance stats. |
| Pure Silver | Danger | Track specialist; will be in the finish. |
Framed Market (105%)
Universal Hotness: $2.10
Pure Silver: $4.00
Venus King: $6.50
La Excellence: $15.00
Others: $26.00+

Race 7: BUNBURY CUP ON SALE NOW HANDICAP (1400m)
A high-quality Class 3 to finish. Hez Got The Safe is a punter's dream with an 8-from-11 placing record (72%). He was agonizingly close last start (0.1L) and only needs to replicate that rating to win this. The Scholar is the weighted danger; his win at Pinjarra two starts back was full of class and he maps to sit just off the speed.
Recommended Bet: High Confidence (2 Units) - Hez Got The Safe ($3.50)
Framed Market (105%)
Hez Got The Safe: $3.30
The Scholar: $3.80
Mangifera: $5.50
Imapagethree Girl: $8.00
Others: $20.00+
