Good Friday Racing

West Australian Racing
It’s an Easter feaster with racing and football as far as the eye can see, a well named day.

No prices out for Ascot or Kal but Watch Me Rock looks tough to beat again.

Says a lot about the corporate 'bookmakers'. One bloke at Tabtouch goes on leave and no corporate bookmaker anywhere in Australia can frame and put up a market. They're not bookmakers at all - just gutless incompetent parasites who survive by copying each other's prices, banning or restricting punters who don't lose enough and preying on the rest.

Letting these parasites into racing, well all sports actually, will eventually be recognised as the arrival of the Grim Reaper. No presence on course, no license to operate, no exceptions, no phone or computer betting in the last 10 minutes prior to jumping get on course if you want the last minute fluctuations and movements and ban "in the run betting" completely......crazy idea, completely insane but it would, after a lot of pain, put the Industry back on track.

Corporate bookmaker are about as much like a bookmaker as I was like a Sandover Medallist. Calling them bookmakers is an oxymoron.

Your 100% right JayJay but its 100% no chance of happening.

Clearly, it will never happen, I agree....but what have corporate bookmakers actually done for the sport other than giving it an intense and prolonged rogering? Nothing, not a thing, their only legacy will be one of catastrophic proportions and outcomes.

The Gordon Gecko's will end up racing amongst themselves for money they put up as a private purse. Which is what many of them would be very comfortable, can't have these low life peasants upsetting the apple cart of greed.

7.45pm night of pre-public holiday meeting, where it’s not only a big on course day but holiday destinations have pubs heaving. No odds yet.
