    racing writer for the SCMP? he'll have to get his act into gear...what i mean is that he, and ernie have limited colomn/word space here on the west. he will have to produce vastly more than he does here.

    at this stage there does not seem any acknowledgement of him from the media. not good as he has done a fine job over many years.

    The West had something on him the other day, with Jay providing his top 5 moments in racing.
    There have been accolades from Perth Racing (had a race named after him) and Western Racepix also tweeted stuff.

    Also very passionate about their racing. Think the SCP is possibly the only paper. If not the only paper with a racing section I think
