No raceday thread that I could see hells bells she's a quiet site these days.

Anyway i reckon Resortman is an e.w bet to nothing on Sat sadly i missed the $34 ..
Drawn deadset middle of the 16 Rawiller should give him every chance and he could upset if the fav gets a mini puncture.
Winterbottom tips are : Resortman, Overpass, Ripcord..and throw in Triple Missile and Hot Zed for a 5 way box trify or just in a first 4..those two are not ideally drawn in low gates.

I would love to see a scratching so Austin Galati gets a ride albeit on a rather rough chance.
Had a chat with Julia Martin at Gero on 18th Nov(she is on fire had a treble on Wed as well), I think she's a bigger Austy fan than me :D

Other bets:

Yonga Lass short enough but just wins
Demolish R5
Corn Cob who dual accepted in the last if the Winterbottom doesn't have any scratchings.Reckon first up he can run a big race at big double figure odds.

Happy and successful punting to all.
+1 -1

Why on earth is Shaun Mcgruddy not on Red Can Man?

Not in the know at all but I did see a comment from Wolfy where he is of the opinion the horse is better ridden with a sit, so .. he may have got the flick for leading last start just a guess.

Snowdome  gate 16   IMO. will be getting a trouble free run with cover as all the early speed coming from gates (10,11,12)--------- 10.Overpass will try to lead----  11 Man Crush will be there purely to work him over for stablemate Ripcord,-----  12, Oscars  Fortune  point to point speed  second to none, Reality is that at this stage of his career  he doesn't come off the bridle  to ride  Tactical race.-------Hoping for Ascot Bottleneck at 400m.  Snowdome   swoops.

I don't know what it is about the Winterbottom that Perth Racing can't attract a quality 3 or 4 runners from over here.

Overpass is a genuine Gr 2 horse that through placement by an astute Trainer, won a huge purse. First horse beaten in The Everest and was lucky to get a start. It it wins today I think it is a step backwards for this Gr 1.

I hope a WA horse can win, but this running won't be one of those regarded as stellar in quality.

So in that respect, I hope one of the two Gingerbread Man's can get up as this is the only chance of a breeding boost to a field of Interstate bred horses. (Red Hot Choice being deceased - Hot Zed)

Amateur hour. Why don’t we just nominate them all for SKY 2

4 minutes late and D Mac makes a comment about how quick he let them go!!!!

As for the inability to load the horses in time.

Most states have 3 or more meets today.

WA has 1. So all our resources are available to get the races run as they should. Like in time. Nup we still not capable.

Im just not sure that there are that many good sprinters around at the moment through the whole country, nation wide lull.

If you look at the fields of G1's Imperatrez was beating outside thst last race they were G3 listed types.

Even looking at The Everest, outside the top few they are hardly superstar 1200m horses.

Similar lines to you Inhope Ripcord can win it and possibly go on to be a star. Not sure if he can but it would be a nice story.

I don't think the Everest is necessarily the absolute best quality that can be assembled. Being a slot race it is open to manipulation and the whims of those who have paid for the privilege of owning a slot.

Rawiller's ride on Elite Fighter is a prototype of what he will do on Resortman, hopefully will be a pair closer.

Sometimes it is just too obvious.
Overpass the class and set for this race.
Zahra jumps off Gold Trip and elects to ride Without a Fight.
For the record I was not on either

I thought I was brave declaring Knuckey... avid readers know where I stand on him.... on my best bet but thankfully Baby Paris saved my buttocks. Most of my others were trapped wide apart from My Bella Mae which should have been in the finish bar an average Carberry ride.
