R2 No4 Rulelee, no science here I'm just backing in Scotty.

R3 No1 Bad Wolf, something very small straight out as it was trucking in behind them last start, might be able to do something similar in a small field/jig sprint race.

R5 No9 Twains Angel, they've bet some great prices about this early. I think this will be a simple watch. Some novelties with 2 3,5,8.

R7 No2 Pompey, want the black odds again but Pike on here is massive.

R10 No8 Puli EW. Loved its last run, think it can dictate here and give a real.site.

R11 No4 Magnificent Andy. Bit of a gap from its first up run but if it shows up in the same condition they won't see which way it went over the last 200m.

Have something on Mostly Cloudy Flemington R2 fellas.
    Happy punting.

I was on it too. I'm also annoyed at McGruddy for not realising they were going too quick and taking the sit. It was suicide to go with the kamikaze ride on Double Spice.

It happens every week, and least the stewards should say next 10 starts no apprentice to ride this horse. Isnt it a great look on a Saturday metro meeting.  Mc Gruddy would have known but probably was told to lead and dont hand up. Especially to an outsider 1st up.

It seams to me that some of the female apprentices lack the strength to hold a horse.
What are the stipes doing about it ? jack **** thats what

I would assume all apprentices are judged the same on the strength of their bodies. Male and female should not come in to consideration. Agree that without stating the obvious most males of around 17 years of age are probably stronger than their female comrades. I don't mind backing a female claiming apprentice on occasion because they are less likely to overthink the job and just let their horse roll along as it feels comfortable. Of course when I back a horse and an apprentice on a 200/1 shot takes on my 5/2 chance mercilessly from the start I get mighty peeved off but I guess it's just the racing game

Can’t find it on the tab . But was Maddy Derrick winner and 3 seconds enough to win the jockey challenge yesterday. And if so how much did she pay?
