Nerve Not Verve gets conditions to suit as surprise surprise it's been piercing down in Sydney.
Love this girl she will give a big sight hopefully gets over and on speed.
Won this race at big odds last year, bless her.

Honourable mention to another mare i like and i think can figure prominently in the Cup later this year Gin Martini, she is more unknown on heavy ground but the penny has dropped with this girl now I reckon.

Toowoomba horse has tested positive to cocaine from December after winning a $200,000 race.

End Assembly, unbeaten in three starts for Trainer Mark Currie has returned positives in both A and B samples.

You having a little something on your favourite horse in the Sydney Cup today TS ?
Tempted to throw her in my quaddie:D

Nah Det i didn't back her..I backed a milk Drinker by the name of Cleveland, who finished tailed off alongside the 2022 MC winner..issues with both maybe idk.
The Verve battled on ok though she tired noticably late.

Was very impressed again with White Marlin first up he and Gin Martini are my early local cup hopes for later in the year.

Was even more impressed with Dubai Honour, serious animal that boy!

Sat down and watched the racing this afternoon - 1st time in years - simply because of the excitement that $4 million race generated - and wasnt that a great race - Ascot must be one of the best tracks in the world - you can come from last on the turn

But well done to Wayne Harris - like i say i hadnt watched or followed the gallops for years - but he was out at KemblaGrange - speaking ok - i mean the guy had a brain tumour - and he nearly died a few times - but he is a real survivor - hed probably be about 60 now - and by the way he tipped/declared the last winner at Kembla - i wasnt  betting - but it was 8s to 4s if you dont mind - and it was never ever going to lose

I can remember in Sydney when he got that brain tumour - like at the time - he was a high profile champion jockey - and a couple of years after that - when things sort of looked ok  - and some woman out of the blue contacted him - - because her son was diagnosed with a brain tumour - and she said can you talk to my son and give him a bit of inspiration - which he did

So well done to Wayne Harris - and i think he is a very likeable person as well

Jigsaw how good honestly gives his all and doesn't do it easy racing on speed/leading.
60kgs today and had to do some work to get to the front but it was still no problem, stable must love him and i know Cuz Walker does too.
Hope he is doing well also Jamie Kah and any others recuperating from injury etc.

Where did u see the 151 bucks mate? Into 71 on tabtouch but that could be just a few $50ew bets lol
Agree hard to see him doing much anyway good luck to them.

How about the fav Think About It aka fill-up machine and his rapid rise, won a BM72 late January and is now a group 1 winner and going for 7 on the bounce tomorrow.
I love this horse because he never runs even an average race he is just a deadset winner.
Getting out to a more sensible price now 3.10..might jump from barrier 9 or even 8 after scratchings which is ideal in a big field.

they sure are thunder. over 1000 horses, 240 full time staff, extending the nsw operation and eyeing qld.
burn out must happen and the consequences can be quite serious.
i wonder when he last met up with a group of non racing mates and had a night out on the grog.?

Punters, have a captain cook at the replay of R9 at Scone..our own Madi Derrick was on a 100-1 pop(it paid $152 on Utab)and launches from a truly hopeless position and rolls the even money fav in the last 2 hops :))

    Astonishing win.

Wow that was impressive. Was going 10 to their 0ne in the end. Got there like you said the last two bounds. But was 1/4 length in front and she sat up.  :))

I'm a knock on S.A racing tbh, generally i reckon the quality is lacking..however I want to give a plug to yet another female app Alana Livesey.
This young lady is of late kicking arse and taking names, i have backed her on several occasions.l with success and today she has notched a treble!
Sadly I have only backed the one that just won R8 i haven't checked deductions but it was 25s into 6s and won easily, even after being half tardy away too!
You go girl, keep kicking home winners .

Not sure of their respective tallys but Carleen and Celine are having a great battle over east(the GOAT weighed in with a couple of winners at Flemington, it might be a big few months for him in what may be his twilight season).

Your right @Glamour there are a few putting their name up in lights in other states and in Melbourne its the girls, Madison Lloyd rode a winner at headquarters too..i think she is pretty decent as well just not getting as many opportunities as the other more prominent ladies.

I'm a wrap on Carleen especially(i'm sure Celine is too)she seems like a really hard-working and extremely likeable person as well as being a quite skilful rider.Moody has no issue putting her on his regularly and even recently his group 3 winner, Sigh(her first black type win).

Good on them wish them all the success and incident free racing whenever they leg aboard one.Girl Power!!

So good following these 2,good reading something positive, instead of Jamie Kah,on what's she doing and what she's done, how dumb she was, only had to be low key,and all would have been good, and now the media are loving this, but forget about her,and look forward to following these 2 rising stars battle it out to the end of the season.
