    superstorm would be a real gamble buy. under $30k would be reasonable, actually if you got say, a group of 5 it could be a bit of fun.

    the other 4 i have no idea but it looks like leek is on the outer, i doubt another successful trainer in melbourne would take him on.
    i read where he paid 460k for a youngster recently, you'd think that would go to an e.s. trainer, if he bought it in NZ it may stay there for the time being.

    Probably right mate but is only 6, so as Falc said maybe worth a punt if the price was right.
    His high rating would be a fair problem though.

    It trialled after its last horrible run,it was just as horrible,this horse was pretty damn good,never ran bad race before last one,hope you’re right,but fear the worst :-q

    One can only assume all the vet checks have been taken from both parties to continue with a race career in relative safety.  If so then why not?  What else is he going to do? Sit in a paddock as a hack for the next 15 years?  if he never gets back to his best that’s fine, it won’t hurt his feelings, he doesn’t have any.

    Exactly all good the main problem for the new owner(s)will be his 111 rating ..
    The ownership group should be going in with their eyes open and the horse is sound so no harm being done here(other than maybe some $$$ lost by people who can afford it anyway).
    They also could easily win back the investment, its a gamble but not a huge one.

    SWP races he'll end up on the limit after being winless for the requisite time. Wouldn't matter if he was a 120 rater.
