Yeh a bit short around 2.70 now I think, I've had something on boosted to 3.10 but that's rock bottom odds imo.

Not given as much hope is the one above her You'll Be Mist, presumably due to a sticky gate(i think she can possibly get cover 3 or 4 pairs back)& moreso the poor looking record at 1200..it isn't terrible when u look further but is a query.I am giving her an exemption however because right now this mare is low flying, this year she has had 16 runs going winless 11 times in a row, now has won four of her last 5 albeit all at 1000m.
If she gets lucky with the cover mentioned there will be good speed undoubtedly and several charging late, reckon she will be one of them..a 1 x 3 bet is the go.

Parry Sound I mentioned has been specked from $20 into 11 now..likely not big $$$ but a few nibbles.

Nice moment with trainer Cody Morgan..was worried about the track and it.may get ugly later.
Didn't anticipate a deteriorating soft7 track for the first race that's for sure.

Gonna have to flick channels..Mcavaney, Richardson and Lizzie Jelfs, f me that's a trifecta of annoyance...

Have been told the stable of Ezekeil in race 1 is quite confident. I believe most of the early odds on offer were snapped up by connections.

    Great info Gilga.  ^:)^
    Won very well.

Idk if Jacquinot is intending.to go to the All Star Mile but that win just now was super, he really motored late indicating 1600 will be very suitable.

Does the ..... mean Sarcasm Voodoo?

I was nervous backing it, gate 2 and a run on type at the 100/150 or so I thought he wasn't going to win.

Lane lifted when he needed to.....watching the overhead film, thought (my opinion only) Lane rode him to give him an easy time but when it looked a bit ordinary the "go button" was pushed and the horse responded well. A fair bit of improvement to come I believe.

Yep 1600 it looks like he will love it, already a winner at 1400.

I haven't checked which track the ASM is at this year.

    Thanks Tony,
But Ugghh..that sucks a little, was this because Caulfield is out of action and it defaulted to them or is it their turn anyway?

Pretty sure it is their turn

Haven't checked the prizemoney but it's a small slightly average field..just 7 runners, don't think either of them are suited today.
WE has had a run though, in a moderately run 1200m race down the straight, consequently he couldn't make up much ground from last.

What does O’Brien do to them,Superstorm has had issues fair enough, but Western Empire looks a shadow of itself, remember Lords Ransom going to him in good form and going right off just as quick??

Peter’s should swallow his pride and give his eastern states runners back to Grant & Alana, because their last 12 months has been completely embarrassing…

What was the reason for the bust up of the partnership - re Peters - Williams

I can remember way way back when i followed the gallops closely - and punted on them - Robert Holmes A Court had a private  trainer - the name Edwards rings a bell - that is purely going off  my memory - i havent got any record books

Any how - one Xmas time - or Xmas break time - where the Ascot carnival had just kicked off - that trainer said to Holmes A Court - pick up your horses - im finished with them  - im not training for you anymore

And again from memory - the reason might have been - that Holmes A Court - or his racing manager  over rode the trainer when it came to jockey selection/mounts - they wanted and put on top e/states riders like Harry White - and that private trainer had thus his nose put out of joint - because he wanted top local Perth jockeys on his horses over that Ascot carnival

the essential reason i think, marko, was financial, or lack of it to be more precise.

Me old favouriteThe Verve ran a cracking race 3rd up last night @detonator, gee she likes the Valley.
Had Persan breathing fire when it was game on and pretty much put a gap on that galloper leading up into the straight, only to get beaten by her stablemate late in the race.

Could be on track for something in Sydney in a month or two again in the twilight of her racing career.
