  I am not in the inner circle like a lot of you on here so I don’t have the sensitivities when talking about jockeys  on what I perceive to be good or bad rides. 

  I am also not the first or last to comment on particular rides. Isn’t this part of what these forums are about ? 

  I stand by comments on “Patrick’s” ride the other day. 

  As a punter on the wrong end of the stick I occasionally air my frustration when I am talking thru my pocket.

  I also did today re Vampi at Play from what I saw…..talking thru my kick.

  Thought I would read the stewards report to see what they thought of the ride.

  It was like reading “war and peace”

  2 great rides by Lucy Warwick yesterday,still maintains her skill in these big ones,never gets swamped with cream rides, but still pulls off these big races.

  1. Chance your hand to get cover.... if it doesn't eventuate, you get caught wide with no cover.
  2. Go right back and ride for luck.
  
  Both scenarios are low risk and neither are due to a skill shortage. Great run to get 3rd today but was win or bust and probably misses the Railway.
