Trainer Ash Maley hasn’t had much luck lately especially with some terrible barrier draws. Never known a stable have runners draw as consistently wide, and so the trend continues tomorrow, but the spacious Northam track may help.

Going each way all his runners bar one.

Race 5: Regal City first up at around 8/1 don’t mind this guy. Should run well.

Race 6: Jag The Joker very good effort two starts ago, last run a shocker, Pike goes on at around 8/1. Barrier 12 in a field of 12. Run before drew 16/16. Should go forward and hopefully stick on for a place.

Race 7: Arnies Boy drawn terribly again, reckon should’ve nearly won last start Chris Parnham on, that’ll do.

Race 8: Isopoda first up, confess don’t know much about him! He’s around 10/1 better have something on.

Other runner early in the day Water Horse will be about 100/1 and pass on that one.

Good luck everyone!

It was a base run, that's for sure.

That race was all over as soon as Pikey got the Joker into that position from the tricky gate.. big difference the change of jock can make

Fought on bloody well in town two runs ago, then drew the river at Belmont when kept surprisingly short in betting, yep Pikey bullied, carried, lifted all those things and over the line first.

It is a bit of a fighter just the same. They had their chance. Outside barrier and the rest was up to Pike.

Regal City - three wide the entire from barrier 6 - wouldn’t give up on it, battled away ok.

Arnies Boy - last chance today - if has even luck and misses top 3 - goes into the too hard basket along with Megazone! But knowing Arnie he’ll either be wide with no cover or blocked for a run or get too far back..that’s where need a Chris Parnham pearler.

Pike looks super hard to beat on the favourite.

Deputano gee what a average run never looked a hope of winning.

Arnie good effort, was getting the wobbles at the 100 but did well to hold third. The fave seemed to do little.

Regal City - don’t give up on him.
Jag The Joker - can win again.
Arnies Boy - just a country horse, needs everything to go right, and can win a race.
Isopoda - if ever wins again, I’ll walk to China.
