Northam Tonight.
Harness & Greyhounds
Keen on just the one horse tonight - although only beating a weak field, worked quite hard in the run and thought showed some fortitude when holding them at bay to win first up at GP midweek. Tonia Stampalia might be able to lead all the way.
It's race 5 # 1. Renascentrez - the danger is obvious - the $1.32 pre-post favourite Extradite. It might just go whoosh straight past them - but if not then hopefully Stampalia can be left alone in front and lead from go to whoa.

Staright down the line with the first three favourites.
Soho Whisper - Countess Grace - Waltzingwithsierra.
Then going to try to break the favourite cycle and take the fave on in the fourth leg - and take four of them - Rockmenow, Bee Seventeen, Combat Crusade , Mystic Falls. 1x1x1x4. =$4.
Backed a blowout in the second hezachance 51 fixed ew good trial at Byford not convinced about the fav 3yo filly against older horses lost by a fair old margin last start.
Hopefully we all have a good night.
Just don't need four favourites in a row to be able to get it!
Waltzingwithsierra was driven with arrogance, was sometimes handy in Victoria, but could be a little bit weak too, when saw in the breeze thought might be in trouble but did it easy, very average field but might string a few together.
Could I get the winner - cross.
Mystic Falls was going ok and perhaps should've got going, but don't think would have made any difference. Rockmenow and Combat Crusade - pass. Both ordinary - Rockmenow is always under pressure. Seen it a couple of times like that, then finishes off ok. Combat Crusade went back at the start - good night. Bee Seventeen was ok, might pick up a weak race from a favourable draw.
All honours to the winner at $29 he bolted in. Brilliant drive too.
However when two horses begin to serve it up to each other along way from home have seen it happen before and will see it again.
Good effort the third horse was happy with that run, might pick up another weak race up, the runner up really put the heat on.
That race was a better spectacle than the Miracle Mile - had my heart pumping!
There's your first four result - $413 too easy.
As far as driver Corey Peterson - he is going to be a ripper. His drives on Captain Proud over the Busselton Carnival and since have been beauties. Reckon the Busso carnival increased his confidence, always had great potential but since then gone to another level.
Won over 100k has Compact Rocket, not bad in at the handicaps, he places them unbelievably well and is one of the best standing start trainers going around.
Scott uses some very clever drivers - Suvaljko, Harper and Peterson and can't they get some roughies up.
The lightly raced winner fair dinkum galloped badly down the back straight, then within a second Mark Reed had him back in gear charging around - big run, lightly raced too.
