After his great win on the weekend(in a very weak race)Man Booker has been given 5 rating points for his win.
He is now 3 rating points below Group 1 winners Pounamu and Great Shot.
Man Booker has only won 1 Group race (as a 3yo) and has never won at Weight For Age
I think he has been very harshly treated by the Handicapper what are your thoughts?

you win you cop points pretty simple isn't it

how many times has he raced and won out of his grade (there's an extra 2 points on top of whatever he's been given) then you can see how they slowly start to add up?

Hmm, easy for me to say, but if i owned th horse there wouldnt be too much complaining from my end.

Beat Pounomu out of sight previous start (and should have won) at WFA when should have had 4kg on it (Rated 101 as opposed to Pounomu at 109). Didnt recieve a penalty.

Absolutely kills them on the weekend giving at least 4kg to the rest. The rest arent much, agree was a weak race.

Absolutely garaunteed a Railway start if going that way. id be super excited about that and the stiffer competition in the next 2 months.....some mouthwatering clashes

I dont know if that race was worthy of getting the discretionary extra point... in fact, I would have given him 3pts because of the dreadful opposition. only beat 85-91 raters...

so whose corner are you in for the Railway.... Man Booker or King Blitz as you seem to be in love with both lately... especially the latter  :))

Don't understand your comment about that race being worthy Diva , at least it was a listed race. Floyd coped the discretionary point for winning a 62+ last year

Wink And A Nod was a 99 rater and then won 4 races and placed once from 6 starts Including:
    Grandstand Cup
    Old Comrade stakes
    Belmont Sprint Group 3
    Hyperion Stakes Group 3
And only went up a total of 6 points to 105
    Go figure

Wink And A Nod: It shows the value of winning SW-P and WFA races as opposed to handicaps.

Man Booker also won the Grandstand Cup(by 0.5 len)as a 98 rater and got 3 points Yet Wink And A Nod wins the same race by 3.5 len and gets 2 points going from 99 to 101

Has the Domenic Berne model been adopted ? I know another Trainer who advised Owners to sell a recent winner due to handicapping

are you implying certain owners and trainers of horses being favoured depending who the handicapper has *** with?    :-O
