Totes amaze declared the winner, bets paid out then the results were corrected or the horse disqualified??

Crownbet paid it out then took it out not long after............

    Jockey weight in 700 grams light. Forgot to change vest after riding in race before as he weighed out for totes in heavy vest before the the race before. I own 25 % of Totes :-(

    I feel very sorry for you @matt and all the punters who were stiffed. I'd like to see reform in this area. I'd like to see a penalty of 1 length for every 500g underweight. That would destroy any incentive to cheat but still allow common sense to prevail if a horse won clearly.
     In this case, if Totes Amaze was relegated to 3rd, I think that would have been a fairer result.
    Many years ago I was on a horse that led all the way and won by 4 lengths. I only needed it to run in the first 3 for a big collect. It beat the 4th horse by 8 lengths. It weighed in 1kg light and I collected nothing. That's a joke.

    Peter Farrell got a month suspension for this. Should have been made to ride for the month with all money going to connections of Totes Amaze.
