Believe me when I say you are all better off remaining anonymous and the moderators taking a thread down from time to time..........I can go close to guaranteeing that very little gets taken down unless a call has been received. As opinionated posters we should push the boundaries as fas as we want to, but if we do it anonymously then expect to lose a thread from time to time.

Can I have The Diva's number please, I'd like to have the cursed Gatting thread removed

The replay doesn't lie :)]  phone call or no phone call, it was a rort (Paul Dower 0421 741 946) and the stewards up there are a disgrace!

RWWA are aware of the real identity of quite a few forumites.

Hoping they have worked out those identities by comments made, not by some other means.

Good on them and who cares, if us (the punters and small time owners) who fund the industry that's going backwards week in week out while the game gets a bad name from crooks and other dodgy events at an attempt to make an easy buck off the industry, can't voice an opionon or address an issue even blind freddy could see then what hope does this so called "sport of kings" have lasting or attracting the next generation... **** enough people off your gonna be exposed eventually

When you accuse stewards of corruption with no basis, Chris and I are the ones to receive the phone calls. If you want to post your real name, which I don't see should be a problem if you believe what you write, then you can take the phone call and sort it out directly with the parties you have issue with.

must of hit a nerve with someone up in la la land. With phone calls getting made. =))
After Nathan Fyfes run on Saturday compared to his previous run, it is the most blatant set up for an owners birthday you will see.
Absolute polar opposite the two rides.

If I were acting for the defence, it would be simply a case of the jockey heeding the warning from the stewards and being more vigorous in the concluding stages next start.
If I were a steward, someone else would have been riding it on Sunday.
I would like to know who police's the stewards. The stewards hand out fines and suspensions as well as disqualifications when people break the rules.
If the stewards make mistakes and it is documented that they do, who pulls them up (pardon the pun)?
The worst thing I've seen happen is that they have been "admonished". It'd be awesome if there were an independent stewards panel that could be appealed to, in order to look into decisions that the mainstream were clearly at odds with. That level of scrutiny may just........what did Senator Don Chipp say?

Hugh Bowman rode nurse kitchen in the 6th at Flemington today. The trainer of the horse in a pre race interview that his horse had "zero" chance due to the track bias. He said it would be better coming down the outside fence. Hugh rode it as cold as ice at the rear in almost a "protest" ride.
The horse opened at 8's and started at 14's. Be interesting to see the stewards report on this one.
In my opinion I believe the jockey has an "out" because of the track.
Given a fair track may be worth a few bob next time.

Thanks mate. It was however, a rhetorical question.

What does rhetorical mean ? Haha I know what rhetorical means and yes realised that it was a rhetorical question. Put it down for the slightly younger generation who might be reading.

I've never seen so many "rider was reminded of their obligations" in the stewards report as what I've seen in the last 2 weeks. Suspend the buggers, if they do it again then give them longer the next time and so on. Warnings do not work

Not enough Jockeys around these days to be dishing out suspensions left roght and centre, though I think a few more are warranted
