Now you guys know a bit more about this than me,but,has Mr Knuckey been told to confront the stewards after his ride on Kings Troop!
Looks to me he stopped riding the last 25mtrs out!
This came to my attention as a mate of mine had nearly on $1000.00 riding on his multi and really I cannot see the difference between that ride and Mr Whytes ride!

    MR Whytes mount was not impeded behind the heels of another runner over the concluding stages Roo . Heard of talking out of your pocket . talking out of your mates pocket is a new one

    Just looked like Knucks thought he had 3rd in the bank I think!
    Spinks I wish I could get that close to a multi then I would claim that was mine!
    History on here proves that!

    Seems to be on the outer at Durrants all rides have dried up , Pike gets first call on all mounts now so dont think Knucks is driving down the freeway anymore to ride work

    I went back and watched it Rooboy. IMHO, it is far worse than Whyte's ride. But the difference is it cost third not first. He should still get time though for that pathetic effort. That looked far worse than Whyte's

    Knuckey sits up with 25 to go and gets nutted on the line, Whyte sat up with 10 to go.  If I owned Kings Troop, I would be furious, cost connections 5 grand.

    Jum obviously the stewards saw it completely different to you . We don't have the vision available to us they have , in the stewards report as stated above was impeded behind heels of another runner over concluding stages. If that's the case what do you want him to do keep riding get on the other runners heels strip it behind and possibly come down with the majority of the field behind him

    Rides like that happen every day of the week
    had lots of momentum so don't think the result would have been any different
    candlelight star was always going to beat it home.
    You can't compare that to Whyte's ride at all
    But Stewards prob should have spoken to Knuckey and asked the question
    Thats Racing been happening for Years !

    Brady why would the stewards ask that question, when in there opinion  King Troop was impeded behind the heels of another runner read the stewards report. If it is the case that he was impeded behind another runner (as they believe he was) and he kept urging forward , they would most probably be asking the question of Peter why did you  a experienced senior jockey keep riding up on to the heels of another runner

    Impeded behind Heels, is absolutely Farrkin laughable , and says lots about our incompetent stewards. As Volkoff was a length and a half in front of him with no other horses around him, when Knuckey sat up on him.   Does not matter how many differing visions they have. the one that matters is the side on. And you can clearly see Volkoff  1.1/2 legths in front when he sits up.

    Agree with you brady. On the fact that this happens every day and it's racing. But it should not be. Stewards have a job to do. And they have not done theirs here.

     Kings Troop found at the 100 when Volkoff went to him and knuckey was giving him a few on the rump. So my opinion differs in who would have finished in front. Momentum changes dramatically when one is full steam and the other is sat up on.

    Isnt Kings Troop a 76 rater and the race Saturday a 90 plus? Would have lost a lot of rating points winning or placing in that race.

    Sorry its a 74 rated. Not for one moment suggesting there was anything untoward just think it will go better in a 72plus.

    Watch the replay Sprinks the last 25 wasn't ridden out
    Was held up very slightly in the straight then had a clear run
    In my opinion he still would have finished fourth
    But the Stewards should have at least asked the Question ?
