Now why is it that if we have a wet day, a heavy 8 and its raining the jocks refuse to ride due to SAFETY issues, but when it's dry, heading into carnival time and horses are losing their footing at such a critical point of the track is SAFE to continue???
Surely a 550kg race horse at top speed rounding a bend is a bit more dangerous for animal and rider than a bit of mud and water!!!!
