State Solicitor

West Australian Racing
What is the general consensus on him, is he a genuine top liner?

Would be interested in Careys or anyone elses thoughts on how he compares to say Barakey after 4 starts?

Got a bit of pud tomorrow will see how good he is even though only 4kg between him and bottom weight. At the price i would be backing Le Patron but State should win

I think he wins tomorrow. Gets put away for summer. Comes back aims for and wins for Peters/Railway double.

From what I have witnessed, Nothing from WA will beat him. Williams/Peters both have stated he is still green/Growing and learning the caper.

    His potential is untapped IMO

my opinion is worthless dt, as i have never heard of it until reading this!

i just looked it up in my data, and only its last run looks very very high, but as against that, the computer deviations for expected to actual, are the highest i have for any metro meeting in wa.

so there is obviously something not right with my numbers, and i no longer check them.
although a very good horse can contribute to that large deviation, it is mostly because of weather related factors.
and the last race of the day was very very slow, so i am guessing it rained heavily before this race and after the previous race, and it has skewed the numbers
thus the earlier races will all be too fast.
so where i have a class figure of 72.5 with a speed of 89, the true speed will be something less than that.
once upon a time, i would have fixed all this stuff, but that no longer happens.

i would guess it's pretty good, but don't know if it barakey good or not.

You might be right about your numbers, but it stuck out like you know what on my class figures last start too, and the time seemed comparatively very good.

Although my WA stuff gets even less attention than yours :))

Would have loved to seen him in the 1400M 72+ tomorrow. Track gallop nonetheless I'd say

It has beaten B graders on wet tracks at it's last two with great rides from William Pike, just look at 2nd and 3rd at his last couple ? In saying that you can only beat what you race against. I will look forward to him spelling after this and coming back bigger and better as these horses tend to do from Bob Peters

Also a freak. Both horses the future of wa racing, until they are rated out of our races in 6 months.

The fact he has so much upside still is pretty scary. Can't wait to see him next prep bigger and stronger

Falcon back on page 29 under the heading spring stars in perth any predictions, i said i was taken with Man Bookers two starts to date. To which you replied mid winter form spink , i would think that would leave me to beleive, you have said it before and in that instance you were refering to Man Booker
