Croatia looks as like they will go out the tournament against Italy in the round of 16
    :))

History will say otherwise. Italy only beaten Croatia once - in 1942.

I was under the impression Euro96 was Croatia"s 1st major tournament....

they were a province in former Yugoslavia, obviously organised a game without the other partners. But yes history of a game Italy V Cro dates back to '42.

    England lose to Iceland.

    Hodgson immediately resigns as manager.

Surely Hart is done as their #1

England are very good at leaving Europe. That was worse than woeful. A team of spoilt multi millionaires beaten by a country renowned for cod fishing. Most of those England players can be thrown into the sea and a net cast for fresh talent who want to represent the country with pride instead of focusing on playing Hollywood with their wags.

Iceland (Listeni/ˈaɪslænd/; Icelandic: Ísland [ˈistlant]), also called the Republic of Iceland,[Note 1] is a Nordic island country between the North Atlantic and the Arctic Ocean. It has a population of 332,529 and an area of 103,000 km2 (40,000 sq mi), making it the most sparsely populated country in Europe.

I gather that makes it approximately the size of Leicester......?
(It is actually EXACTLY the size of Leicester - 330,000 population)

spain completely dismantled, they also did the same job to Belgium. I must say Italy are the best team I have seen play this Euro. And it isn't exactly boring football either. All the Chelsea fans must have a wet spot in their jocks atm, Conte is a masterclass.

two team very well drilled, disciplined and mindful when going fwd. Will be like a chess match. The fastest to break on the counter wins.
