RACE 1 TABTOUCH BETTING MADE EASY MAIDEN 12:14 PM (1512M)
We were taken with the second-up performance of Kiwi-bred filly RIPPED BY PAPPY here on April 9 when coming from near last in running to fill the minor placing. Recent WA Oaks winning jockey Glenn Smith takes the reins in a positive riding move and RIPPED BY PAPPY looks a handy staying type in the making. The horse to beat. The blinkers come off our second pick PRESUMPTUOUS to try to get him to settle better in his second start over the 7-1/2 furlongs. Finished off well to place here on April 9 and he is the main danger to our top pick. LADY EMILY comes out of the same race as RIPPED BY PAPPY, however, her wide barrier draw hinders her chances, while SAVANNAH'S GRACE is a bit in-and-out but is capable of running a cheeky race with only 53kg on her back.

Tips: 9-3-8-7
Suggested Bet: (9) RIPPED BY PAPPY to win.

RACE 2 TABTOUCH.COM.AU MAIDEN 12:49 PM (1240M)
Ben Kennedy booted home a winning treble here on April 9 and his late charge up the Great Southern Jockey Premiership ladder can continue here with the Roy Rogers-trained CANDLELIGHT STAR. This fellow has a few tricks up his sleeve so isn't the most reliable galloper in town, however, he does possess some ability and his effort to place after racing wide throughout on April 9 was full of merit. CANDLELIGHT STAR gets his chance. FLYING DATE has pit in two encouraging performances this preparation and we're thinking she can roll forward again and give them something to catch in the straight. BELLA BLITZ is another who likes to race on-pace but will need to burn a bit of fuel early to work forward from her wide alley, while SINGA DOLL is knocking in the door but hasn't been helped by drawing wide also.

Tips: 3-9-6-8
Suggested Bet: (3) CANDLELIGHT STAR each way.

RACE 3 STAY AT BREMER BAY RESORT HANDICAP 1:29 PM (1240M)
Albany-based jockey Mitchell Pateman is in a strong position to win his first Great Southern Jockey Premiership and he gets a fantastic opportunity to add to his tally of wins aboard likely short-priced favourite QUALITY FAIR in this. Has run into the smart types Chasing Chaos and Potent Secret when runner-up at his past two outings, so his formlines stack up well, and QUALITY FAIR does appear to have a class edge on these. QINGDAO is back in the Paul Hunter stable after a brief stint with Dan Morton and this filly has a fantastic record at this venue, having not finished further back than second in five outings. Appears the only horse capable of beating our on-top pick. We're expecting sharp improvement from DREAM MERGER after getting a long way out of his ground from an outside barrier here on April 9, while FRIARFIGHTER is rarely far away at the finish of his races and should enjoy a nice run from the good gate.

Tips: 1-3-2-5
Suggested Bet: (1) QUALITY FAIR to win.

RACE 4 BREMER BAY BUSINESS HOUSES HANDICAP 2:09 PM (1612M)
Leading local trainer Steve Wolfe holds a strong hand here with two of the leading chances and we're going to stick with honest mare PINS PERHAPS, who we've tipped on top at her past two starts. Was given every opportunity by Tash Faithfull in a similar assignment to this here on April 9 and the five-year-old cashed in with a strong win. Goes up 2kg here and the weight rise is a concern but we're confident PINS PERHAPS will give you a run for your money regardless. We were tempted to place the lightly-weighted STORM ENDING on top after chasing home PINS PERHAPS last start and with a 1.5kg turnaround she has to warrant consideration. The other Wolfe-trained runner GEE PEE ESS put in his first disappointing run for some time when stepping up to 1900 metres here on April 9, however, we're expecting sharp improvement racing back over the mile, while tough mare ELITE FLIGHT is always a chance in these races and just shaded SHILLING for fourth best.

Tips: 2-9-4-3
Suggested Bet: (2) PINS PERHAPS each way.

RACE 5 COMMUNITY TAB SUPPORT ALBANY 10TH LIGHT HORSE HANDICAP 2:49 PM (1920M)
This is a really tough race to kick off the Quaddie, with a host of possibilities, and we were pretty keen on the chances of SCENIC LORD last start and he produced a big effort to run on from last to finish third at good odds. This will be his fourth run for his new stable and he is perfectly placed on the limit weight, dropping 2kg on his last run in 58-plus company. SCENIC LORD each way. Very hard to knock the form of rejuvenated seven-year-old WONORG and his jockey Lisa Staples, who is in career-best form at present. WONORG is shooting for three-straight wins and is a major factor. Talented veteran GALINBA BLAST ran out of his skin over the mile here on April 9 and will relish going around with only 52kg on his back thanks to Sarah Bonner's claim, while TEE PEE CAT has been competitive in each of the Mt Barker, Albany and Narrogin Cups and has to warrant consideration back in this grade.

Tips: 8-4-7-3
Suggested Bet: (8) SCENIC LORD each way.

RACE 6 COMMUNITY TAB SUPPORT ALBANY HOSPICE HANDICAP 3:27 PM (1240M)
Sparingly-raced five-year-old KING CLOSET returns to his home track after a competitive performance in town last Saturday, finishing fourth in a very slick 1000-metre assignment where the winner clocked 57.54 seconds. Previous effort in the Fitzpatrick Plate was full or merit after being forced to race wide throughout and he looks well in at the weights after stable apprentice Tayla Stone's 2kg claim. KING CLOSET to get it done. Stablemates POTENT SECRET and LONG KNIFE are first and second respectively on the Great Southern Horse Of The Year award and we found it very difficult to split them, however, the last start win of POTENT SECRET under 62kg was one of the best in the region this season and he gets our nod for second. Rogers has done an amazing job with LONG KNIFE taking him from a lowly 54-rater late last year to one of the best performers in the Great Southern this season. He can't be taken lightly, while Wolfe-stable stalwart TIGER PETE ran on nicely here on April 9 and is more than capable of winning this without surprising. Good race.

Tips: 1-4-2-3
Suggested Bet: (1) KING CLOSET to win.

RACE 7 MT BARREN RESTAURANT AT BREMER BAY RESORT HANDICAP 4:05 PM (1050M)
The Paul Parsons-trained RIDING SHOTGUN showed plenty of promise as a younger horse when in the hands of Stephen 'S.J.' Miller and he showed a return to form when runner-up in a similar assignment to this here on April 9. Really liked the way he stretched out in the straight and he should be ready to peak at his third run back from a break. RIDING SHOTGUN on top at each-way odds. SECRET MINX is no doubt the most talented horse in the race, however, she may be a slight risk racing first up without a trial against race-fit opposition. Back in the Mark Nelson stable after a prep with Adam Durrant and it may still pay to keep an eye on the market movements. MOLLY TWOHUNDRED is a pacy filly who acquitted herself will in a similar event to this here on April 9 and she is likely to race on-pace and take some catching again, while FYREN is unbeaten in two starts here over this distance, however, has a tricky barrier draw to contend with on this occasion.

Tips: 3-5-8-1
Suggested Bet: (3) RIDING SHOTGUN each way.

RACE 8 BREMER BAY ROADHOUSE HANDICAP 4:45 PM (1512M)
A tricky final leg of the Quaddie here where you can make a case for almost half the field. We're going to go with the up-and-coming COSMAH DOMINATION on top after her strong maiden win over 1230 metres here on April 9. Gives us the impression that the step up to 1512 metres shouldn't be beyond her and jockey Mitchell Pateman gets the chance to ride her patiently from the outer barrier draw. COSMAH DOMINATION gets our nod in a wide open race. Capable four-year-old ZIPLINE  looks a likely improver at his third run back from a spell and we liked the way he finished off here on April 9. Should get the run of the race from the good gate. MULTIMAGIC is an honest as the day is long and has to again rate among the main winning chances in this grade, while M'LADY HALLOWELL is stepping out for the first time for Paul Hunter and was huge here on Albany Cup Day, two starts back.

Tips: 7-2-1-9
Suggested Bet: (7) COSMAH DOMINATION each way.
