I watched Tim Watson with Ling and Koch on telly last night.
I don't think Watson was in LA LA land was he?
I got the impression he was dirty on Hird and Essendon in general, and thought it never should have happened.
Maybe I was not paying enough attention?
Notwithstanding the fact that he would be feeling for his son, as any decent father would.
Personally as much as I have always hated Essendon(my big brother supports them!), I have always had high regard for Watson, especially after I heard he gave a house away to a young bloke when he built a new one at Coongulla.
Once you got it away from anywhere where the AFL could bring its considerable influence to bear this was always going to be the case, I don't see why so many people are so shocked.
The players association are still in dreamland and aren't doing their players and their future welfare any good by continuing to insist they be treated like naughty children, you need to learn the definition of personal responsibility boys.
The reaction from all the Olympic athletes says it all, how can a 15 year-old potential olympic cyclist know her personal responsibility better than older mature AFL players give me a break and as she pointed they get paid big bucks and she doesn't, yet she can adhere strictly to the rules and is acutely aware of her personal responsibility
Andrew Bogut summed up the entire debacle very succinctly in his tweet,
"Strongly against PED's so no gripe with suspensions.
Gripe is my two Siberian Huskies could have better handled this debacle ..."
Think that sort of says it all, it was and has been a total dogs breakfast from the outset.

Pretty sure I said it would be completely different kettle of fish once WADA got involved on here many moons ago.
Why do you think the olympians all reacted in the same manner to WADA's successful appeal, do you they did that out of spite???
They know the rules and are forced to abide by them, everyone at Esoendon thought they were above those rules and untouchable, well guess what commonsense has prevailed and proven that there are no exceptions for so called AFL stars.
An entire club went out of their way to cheat the system blatantly and they got caught and the players grossly abdicated their personal responsibility in the matter.
The sooner the AFL, the clubs. player managers and the AFL players association stop treating adults like naughty children for every transgression no matter how minor or major the better off they will all be in the long run.

That's what happens though when you let personal biases cloud your judgment, funny how so many of you lot don't seem to like it when the shoe's on the other foot.
Perhaps you shouldn't cast stones in the first place???
His comment was spot on.....let me put it another way to make it clearer for you....His comment was spot on.
Starting to see a trend???

You can continue to peddle whatever propaganda you like mate, I have zero respect for the likes of you and others of your ilk on here anyway, the people that matter know my abilities and surprise, surprise, they continue to use them whenever they're required.
Thanks mate in reality you've done me a favour as you've once again reminded me why it's absolutely pointless to waste my time on here.
...............................................I AM NOT YOUR MATE.......................
you seem to have misguided views on everything you discuss. I'm rather chuffed to think that you start by throwing stones, you continue by saying i cant handle a bit of heat, and then you take your bat and run home?!?!?!?!?!? If i can tame your wild and aggressive attack on me....hahahaha... and turn it full turtle to teh point where you take your bat and run home... I've started today feeling like i've already accomplished more than i could possibly have hoped for
<:-P \:D/
EDIT...now he's gone i hope that the thread gets back on topic..Sorry for feeding the beast by reacting to his off topic ramblings

Still here BL, been overseas and busy setting up a new business. So was Lindy Chamberlain.
Not the bottom line for me.
Originally cleared of all charges
Found guilty by a majority not unanimous.
Found guilty on circumstantial evidence.
Level of proof less than required by a court of law (comfortably satisfied not beyond reasonable doubt).
All of the above are facts that, to me, will always cloud the judgement.
The following excerpt from the ruling probably sums up the level of proof that was used.
So if you see a vial that may or may not be illegal you`re guilty of a doping offense.
To those who seem to be overjoyed with the decision, congratulations.
History is dotted with numerous miscarriages of justice, based on the facts in the first part of my post this case will remain that way for me.
PS. For those who have joined the thread late I don`t support Essendon.
