And the Bunbury track has it's own ongoing issues, yet continues to race well and fairly. Perhaps kudos to the local team?
I would assume that the metro tracks have different staff and management to Bunbury?

Too much midweek racing at Ascot and Belmont....give the grass a breather...more mid week meetings at Bunbury , Pinjarra ,York and Toodjay too! Share the load. A city midweek just once a month. Won't happen but still!

They did that in Vic quite often, wed metro meets at the provincial tracks and worked well for everyone involved

What the attendances be like at the tracks though? Don't think many would be keen to go down to Bunbury on a Wednesday? Well people who work anyway haha (which isn't me...)

only wanted to have 2 losers in the 4th - royal supreme and song of war. layed them for a bit but not for as much as i had liked and had backed others, so decided to back everything else to put them in the green - saw the $360 on betfair the winner and thought, nah that can't win so just left it.. only lost small but all it needed was a $5 bet to put it in green :( kicking myself now!

Only reason I am watching bun bury today is for the long tanned legs on one of the barrier attendants. If she reads this and would like a nice meal out let me know....

Pat on the back to Wizard as he states selections and outlays. Win or lose at least he fronts up and states his case. Credit to you Wiz.

Falcon you probably have the highest amount of previous posts on here yet your selections are far and few between so you are not in a position to be negative about a fellow contributor posting selections... and wagers.

Anyone have any information on Barrettstown Boy pulled up with a knee injury after the post, I think this horse is very promising, would be very disappointing if it is serious.
  • snipersniper    236 posts
Unfortunately just been advised he has a serious knee injury!

Such a shame for an unbeaten horse.
It is always the good ones that get hurt.

Any more news on this @darkhorse? Seen that the Bunbury Turf Club posted a status on Facebook passing their best wishes on to the horse and connections.

I believe the horse has fractured carpal bones. Too early to tell if he willrace aagain. I wish John all the best with him. A nicer bloke you will not meet.
