I remember when they paid out on Federer to win Wimbledon in 2009 after Nadal withdrew prior to the tournament due to injury. I backed Roger, but Roddick should have won that match. Roddick was a set up and missed a simple volley in the tiebreak when he was 3-1 or 4-1 up that would have seen him almost certainly go up two sets to love. Incidentally Roddick was 5-1 outsider in the final but I most likely would have had a saver at those odds anyway-much more lucrative than the 'cash out' option :-B

That just seems a total waste of a million dollars! Still a fair way from the first Saturday in October, injuries, suspensions etc

This just goes to show how much these leeches have to throw away!

@LuckyLongshots These guys are the worst for incentives though. If they do give you a free bet, it's $5 or $10. I can't even take that seriously so i throw it on the trots or something and treat it with the respect it deserves. This type of thing is nothing more than a publicity stunt that pays off every time it gets attention on forums like this one.

Massive result last night big thankx to the Tiges , Hawks get rolled by WC next week and Freo roll WC week after top spot all but stitched up and probably can rest 2 or 3 week before the finals huge result ,Freo must finish top as we will draw a Syd or Tiges probably rather play Syd to be honest but rather play those 2 then Hawks

You would want to play a lot better than you are currently to roll the Eagles mate and we've still got plenty of upside yet, the big bird is coming :)

I know it's only 3 quarter time as I wrote this and your eagles may win by a big total, but your big bird isn't soaring right now. Would want to play a lot better than this :D

Got way ahead of themselves looking to next week but could be the best thing that could happen to them, there were bad signs of this last week late in the third quarter and in the early part of the final quarter.
Both sides will be breathing fire this week should be an absolute cracking game.

Waste of 1.3 million ? Do you guys understand advertising budgets ? This was prime time news on all the stations plus papers , facebook etc etc. Do the math squires.

I couldn't agree more Iraklis as you just can't buy that sort of publicity and apparently by putting the money back in circulation they end up getting about 80% of it back, so it serves a two fold purpose.

Not that I disagree with your premise, but prime time news on all the stations, really? Do you call 'The footy show' prime time news?? Certainly didn't get a run on any news I watched...

Up bush. Seen nothing about it. Was it in any news channels?

Yep it was on the seven , nine & ten sports news plus fox sports etc etc. Got plenty of publicity.
