Old race vision

Would anybody on here know how far back old race vision goes.
And how I would be able to get hold of it if at all possible.
After race vision for a Pinjarra meeting in April 1985.

    After reading posts on another thread about jockeys and trainers from another era.
    I can vividly remember my grandfather had a very good two year old called Pearl Harbour that broke a record at Bunbury on debut with Stephen Miller on board. As the story goes Miller got rubbed out and Pop employed the services of Bill 'Butcher' Muir next start at Pinjarra. The whole family Backed it off the boards. And Muir Hooked it. and the horse did some damage too itself. Pop thought it was okay and started it a few weeks later, Miller rode this time and said something is severely amiss with this horse. He never came back any good after that run.
    But I can remember watching it on an old VCR player as a 7 yr old and thinking how incredibly bad actually it was.
    I would like to watch it again and still think if I'm of the same opinion some 30 yrs on.

    "the butcher" is now a judge...you should hurl a rotten egg at him....revenge is best eaten cold, 30 yrs is a fair time to cool down....

    Ross McDonald @ Taimac had all the old vision but doubt the company exists now. Connell bought into it in the latter stage of the original business and that was the end of that I think.

    Bill Muir. His only winner I recall was Joe's Glory in the Easter Cup.

    Well aware of that Piston but Joe's Glory is the only one I recall so it would have been his biggest win. His winners were few and far between.

    Would want to be sure of your facts their Jum... Would of thought Barry (no relation that I know), would the one who would hook a horse, he was a nasty bit of gear, Billy was just a battling jockey, who would have thought would make every post a winner.

    I'm with you Goosie Goosie. Bill was a battling jockey who did not get a lot of opportunities. He seemed a decent bloke and was one of the more honest in the game.

    Can anyone remember the Christian name of the apprentice that was indentured to old Arthur Evans in around the 60s? His surname was Muir.

    Thanks very much for this.
    And Goosie. Bill definitely rode the horse. And like I said. I was a 7 year old. And I'm only going of what a very old grumpy grandfather who I idolised was saying. Hence this is why I would like to watch the vision again. More than likely. The horse was green as grass and went sideways behind the horse in front of him instead of ole Billy steering him there. L-)
