When people who don't know what the hell they are talking about Carey start making smart arse comments I'm going to call them on it and there were smart arses having a shot at the owner of the horse for no reason and if you or others don't like me doing that well too damn bad.
I don't know the owner from a bar of soap but I can't stand it when richard cranium's on here who invariably have single digit IQ's and have about as much knowledge of racing as you can fit on the back of their losing tab ticket offer their "expert" advice to someone for having the audacity to have a crack at those vastly overrated horses in the East (apart from their very top bracket).
How much more evidence do you want that they are massively overrated by some, Mr Utopia, Amorino, Watermans Bay, even Bippo No Bungus for faark sake and it couldn't get warm in some very, very, average races here.

who are you referring to with smart ass comments?
A few blokes gave their opinion of the run, rightly or wrongly.
So their opinions are not valid? Time to get off your high horse andrew, your opinion is no more worthy than theirs.

You must have 2 dicks Andrew because you can't be that big of a w@nker with one.

Every time someone has an opinion that is not the same as yours you say they have a low IQ or have no idea or whatever give it a break.

So getting back to the mare, she meets a very handy field this week.

    http://www.racingaustralia.horse/FreeFields/Acceptances.aspx?Key=2015May02,SA,Morphettville

Presuming weather conditions are favorable, being second up when she is at her best, and she will need to be as this field is better than what she met in the Winterbottom.

Wrong again Brady, already stated plenty of times on here that I get things wrong at times, who doesnt, but I also get a lot more right than wrong and isn't that the key. There were some narky comments on there that were nothing more than unnecessary cheap shots at the owner of the horse and I get sick to death of those who can't and haven't ever achieved anything and are unlikely to do so, having the hide to criticise others for having a crack.
Again, I really couldnt give a faark what you lot think about my resposnse to imbeciles. Can't believe the way you lot carry on about someone who expresses an opinion contrary to the thundering herd.

Agree Damien it is a good field but she's well drawn and should get a good run but she'll need to be at her best or very close to it. Anyway best of luck to Jim and the owner.

Can we have a list of your achievements AC.

Not sure the odd published article or a little bit of media work is considered an achievement, anything else?

Sorry Al, will not beat BHB if he travels there good. Good mare but, from what we both saw at the trials today...Wow.

Not that it matter but it doesn't say that, it says Racing Editor but hey never let facts get in the way of a good story and like it or not that's my title there.

If you took a minute to read the early posts in this thread Andrew Carter you would see that the posts leading up to your criticism of the posters were purely comprised of their own opinions and/or a summation of the race and Magnifisio's effort.
I'm not sure why you thought it was necessary to post what you did but it has made me wonder what makes you act that way on a regular basis.

Just had a look at the Adelaide forecast, and it is sunny today, cloudy tomorrow and on Saturday there is a 30% chance of morning showers and again in the afternoon. But off the back of some good days there, it seems that conditions will be no worse than a Dead track but most likely a Good racing surface.

So Saturday seems to be the day for her.

Couldn't have been given a better ride by Browny she was gone on cornering maybe a class or 3 below them

Queried the class last start and today was significantly stronger. Hopefully she pulled up okay.

Bad luck to JT and Al she was just not good enough unless she pulls up with a problem , but it was nice to see the winner winning in her old home town she may only be small but she has a very very good motor.

I doubt it had anything to do with class. The horse is much better than that. She did beat Waterman's Bay, Angelic Light and Moment of Change in the spring. It would seem she's just not right.

Coming home for a spell and perhaps another crack at a Winterbottom I'm told
  • whereamigoingwrongwhereamigoingwrong    260 posts
Irwin flattened her, she has hated being away, so will come back & have another crack at the Winterbottom. So I have 2 this year. It is upsetting that she never got to show what she is capable of, but that's racing.

At least you didn't die wondering, I still think it was the right move but  I always get a bit concerned when they have a hard run first up on a wet track particularly if they don't handle it and you couldn't really have anticipated a wet track given the weather in Adelaide leading into  it.
She's every bit as good if not better than Power Princess who if I recall correctly was placed in the Sangster previously so it was definitely worth a crack. Dont let the knockers get to you, I'd love to see her with cover in the run down the straight at Flemington on a dry track with her turn off of foot.
