Scratched from Randwick so all he needs to do is handle the float trip.

Why the confidence? Kermadec big unders IMO if I had enough in the bank would be laying it at 3.50 last time in Melbourne over the mile just got over Stratum Star who had a hard run and gave it a kilo Waller just going at the moment.
Would rather be on Wandjina, Petrology or the potential champ Alpine Eagle they have plenty of upside in them.

I could not believe the juicy odds for Rommel last week an cannot believe the juicy odds this week

I think he's way above ave an a def EW go in the guineas riding change yeah slight worry tho we forget Stephen is a very good rider multi group winner go WA!!!

"slight worry" without knocking Stephen, I think its a huge concern.
those melb. hoops will not give him one inch and I don't think he has the big race nerves to overcome it.
I have no idea why they took chris off...he knows Caulfield, rode the horse a treat last week.
apart from chris, a few good ones will be sitting in the jocks room when the race is run.

I think they made the same mistake with mr. moet.....not so with BP's horses, he is not swayed by sentiment.

Yeah. I'm sure they restored some respect for WA trained horses with their performances so far, but It would have been nice to see one of them grab the main prize.

If the jockey admits he fucked up, does it mean I get my money back? I'm new to this :((

Douglas Whyte probably had more to do with Kermadec's defeat than Nash. He is a beast. Gives no quarter. B-)

but Kramer, no quarter is asked and no quarter given....that's racing when the big boys are involved.

Well Tommy Berry(Pheidon) sure let Whyte(Moriarty) out of a pocket pretty easily in the KT. It looked like Douglas went out of his way to put the Guineas favourite in a zip locked pocket-would he have done the same to a 20-1 shot?
  • thefalconthefalcon    20,505 posts
    probably...if it was travelling well.

I'm not so sure. I thought it was gamesmanship at its best and it was brilliant.

did not see the race, Kramer so cannot comment.

I reckon he got got from the powers that be to cool his jets until the stench of the Metrop blows over. It does happen.
