My last live concert and a brilliant concert at that.I had the opportunity to give her a huge hug. A very attractive and down to earth lady.

Can't give you a review (as I haven't been there), but it appears to be a nice place!

The fact they have shuttles from heaps of metropolitan pubs is a great idea, and also I'd assume is a great idea for their bar turnover! :D

Let us know what the venue is like when you see London Grammar

Everclear at the Rosemount, sounds very cool - 20th Anniversary of 'Sparkle and Fade' album, playing the entire album, plus all their other big tracks!

    Be an awesome night!

When does the Rosemount close? Is it for renovation or new owners?

    One Direction were brilliant.:))Kidding.

Not the traditional artist for this thread but David Helfgott at the Mundaring Weir Hotel for the final time this weekend after 30 years playing at the venue. I think a relative owns the hotel. That aside his piano playing is something to behoid. A genius!

Woolworths are the owners now , that was since about a year ago , struck concern for me when I heard that , just hope they keep it as a live music venue but my thoughts are they will wank it up to justify selling over priced beer and food and have Jazz sundays , hope I'm wrong

Never knew they owned it, I am there fairly often and haven't noticed anything different.  It went through a major renovation (in the beer garden) a few years ago.

If they jazz it up a bit, that's fine, but hopefully they don't lose the music size of things - the Hyde Park reno is good, but lost a bit of soul when it lost the music element to it.

    Helfgott is a marvelous pianist!

Yes hopefully they will listen to the people who have made that place what it is but sadly big corps don't , just like you see all these inner city apartments go I then the residents complain of the thumping bass till the wee hours ,,, hello . Anyway we Allways have the back gig room at the Charles to make noise in .

Foo's were brilliant last night. They simply get better with age. The covers of Let There Be Rock and Under Pressure were great.

Delta Riggs were mainly pretty good, wasn't sure what to expect, while Rise Against got the crowd going, they were terrific.

I've seen so many videos from last night posted on Facebook today, really regret not getting a ticket. A mate posted a brilliant video of everlong.

Groovin the moo today in Bun-Vegas. Last year had a very varied drink selection so got an absolute gut-full and scraped home by 6 am. The year before that was carlton dry, carlton dry lime fusion or rum, bourbon, scotch or vodka with cola. Ended up being able to drive home that year through giving the drinks a miss.

Got up early this morning (2am) to try and snare Glastonbury tickets for next June!  No luck with the 15,000 that went on sale, now to wait until 4pm on Sunday arvo for the other 120,000 to go on sale!

Royal Ascot one week, Glastonbury the next!
